Anantara Chiang Mai Resort

A beautiful hotel where three friends had a wonderful time. We were very satisfied with the Lanna Suite; it was spacious and grand. The hotel is close to the night market, yet the surrounding area is quiet. The breakfast wasn't quite to our taste; although everything you'd expect was there, the flavor was just so-so. It's a shame we couldn't book a spa session at the hotel!

This hotel's reputation far exceeds its actual service and hospitality. The room was mediocre, with a weird green scent, and the shower stall was barely big enough to wash in! The pool was nothing special. Riding on the coattails of Jay Chou's fame, a 3000 price tag is absolutely not worth it. The location is also inconvenient, making it super difficult to get around for food and shopping. My partner even got food poisoning from the breakfast and had diarrhea for 4 days and 3 nights. I forgot to take pictures of the room. The first image shows the view from the so-called garden room.

I personally think this is a great hotel. It has a Western restaurant that's popular for Instagram, but it's honestly not really necessary – it felt a bit gloomy and the food was expensive. However, the breakfast was excellent, the staff provided great service, and the gym was also good.

Everything was great except for the room key malfunctioning twice. The pool was comfortable and there were plenty of dining options nearby.

Anantara lives up to its reputation. It's the top hotel in Chiang Mai, situated right by the river. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. The 36-meter pool is beautiful. I highly recommend the IV drip wellness treatments at the hotel.

The hotel is indeed old, but it's well-maintained and has a lot of character. All the staff are very enthusiastic. The location is convenient, making it easy to get around by taxi or on foot. The breakfast is excellent.

Staying for two nights in such an expensive room, yet I was given one with solar panels right outside the window!

Although the noise from an event and nearby restaurants disturbed my sleep for two nights prior to my stay, the manager sincerely coordinated with the surrounding restaurants the next day. Consequently, I slept very well for the subsequent nights. The service quality is excellent, the room is very clean, and the air quality is also very good. The staff members always have a smile on their faces, and both the in-restaurant dining and room service meals are truly memorable. The location is also incredibly convenient, only 15 minutes to the airport. I highly recommend everyone to stay here!
