Pagoda Hotel Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongya Cave

Visiting Chongqing, I chose this hotel in Yuzhong District, not far from Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Although the layout of the floors is a bit confusing and requires changing elevators 3 times, the view is still quite good. I must give a big thumbs up to the hotel breakfast. Having stayed for 4 consecutive nights, they had a special handmade live-cooking station almost every day, and the vegetables were varied daily. The minibar in the room was also very well-stocked every day. A small suggestion: there is a low step on the way to the bathroom in the room, which is easy to trip over. Also, the shower door doesn't seal tightly, and with the water pressure being so high, it's very easy to flood the bathroom.

This is a high-rise hotel with great views! The location is satisfactory, not far from popular attractions. There are many local eateries and small restaurants nearby. It's a bit far from the subway station, but there's a bus stop right downstairs. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, and the taste is just average.

The room facilities were decent, and check-in on the first day was quite fast. However, the room wasn't cleaned very thoroughly; there were noticeable dirty marks on the table, which I ended up cleaning myself to avoid any hassle. The hotel's buffet breakfast had a limited selection, but the taste was alright. Overall, I'm reasonably satisfied.

Overall, I'm very satisfied! The room was clean, the view was excellent, the hotel's public areas were beautiful, transportation was convenient, and the service was attentive. It's definitely worth staying here when you come to Chongqing. Special shout-out to Yao Yao and Shou Shou!
