ME Málaga by Meliá

Stayed here after an Airbnb disaster. Hotel in a good place with a view of the Alcazaba, at the edge of the pedestrian area. Supermarket, bakery and lots of restaurants in the doorstep, taxi rank 1 min away. The hotel is new and as a result everything is sparkly and fresh. Decor is modern and well designed, rooms have great facilities and are of a good size, there's a turn down service which is a nice touch. Staff were all excellent and always plenty around to help out. The rooftop is the stand out feature; good bar area with range of food which comes from the kitchen of the high end restaurant that is also up there, the pool is bigger than you find on a lot of rooftops and loungers are large and comfy (it does get busy though so if you really want a bed for the day get there early enough), there's also a sauna and a steam room up there (for the winter maybe). We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Value was pretty fair for the level of quality. Would definitely return.

From start to finish the hotel met all my expectations. The staff were incredible especially Jose who went above and beyond to make our break very enjoyable. Amazing location and the most amazing view from the rooftop. Definitely will be coming back. Thank you .

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff at the hotel all wonderful and eager to help especially David who welcomes you to the hotel. The food was incredible and the hotel restaurant Canitas Maita gave us one of the best meals we have ever had. Would definitely return. Faultless.

From the sweeping city views to the elevated contemporary interiors, every suite and room feels beautifully designed and incredibly luxurious. The hotel has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere during the week, with welcoming and versatile spaces made for living, entertaining, and completely unwinding, although at weekends it does become noticeably more lively and a little noisier. The rooftop bar and stunning infinity pool are absolutely beautiful, with plenty of sunbeds to relax on. The roof top Bar is very busy at weekends with a Friday night DJ so it’s lively. The award-winning restaurant offers an amazing menu and the food was delicious throughout our stay. The service from the entire team was truly exceptional. It was the first time we’ve ever experienced a hotel where every single member of the team was consistently outstanding — always professional, genuinely kind, and going above and beyond to ensure guests were looked after at all times. There’s so much character throughout the hotel, with local artwork on the walls and touches of history everywhere. We stayed in room 511 which was a suite and absolutely outstanding, so much so that we’ve already decided to return. The General Manager was incredibly professional, and what we especially liked was how he mingled with guests in such a friendly yet professional way. A special mention to Immaculada who really stood out with her amazing customer service and personality.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, the view of the city is amazing. The hotel is great, everything is new and very modern. The rooms are very spacious, clean and very comfortable. Alejandro from reception was very nice and helped us with all the information we needed.
