ME Málaga by Meliá

Highly recommended, service was amazing!

Spent 5 wonderful days with my sisters and teenage daughter in Me Malaga Melia this week. The hotel is beautiful, modern, very clean and centrally located. The staff are outstanding which makes the whole experience feel special and relaxing. From check in to check out nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and the bar food lovely too. We didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant this time. Rooftop pool has great views over the city but do get there early for a lounger. We even enjoyed a complimentary Flamenco lesson thanks to Jose. As frequent travellers this has been one of my favourite city hotel experiences. A big thanks to all the staff!

What a beautiful hotel this is. We went for 4 nights for our wedding anniversary and it was amazing, cava and chocolate dipped strawberries in our room was a nice surprise. The hotel itself in so trendy and modern just to our taste and our junior suite had everything we needed and was spotless clean. The views onto the cathedral and the Alcazaba are great and lit up at night. It is a very busy hotel with people coming and going for short stays but it is quiet when you go to bed not noisy at all other than a little road noise. The staff were all lovely and very helpful with good service. The location is perfect close to everything Malaga as to offer and what a lovely city it is. Now there were just a couple of minor negatives and that was for our ME plus room we were not told any information upon check in about any of the extras that came with our room and did not get private check in/out maybe this was why. Also we could not keep our room on the last day which kind of spoiled our last day as having to get showered and changed in a disabled toilet is not ideal. There was nowhere to hang clothes and the floor was wet to put your bags down and people were queuing to use it. I do think this needs looking at.

This hotel is impeccable! The rooms are so clean, the cleaning staff are so thoughtful and they are always thinking of your needs. The staff collectively are second to none, personable and nothing is too much of an ask. Malaga itself is beauty, culture, relaxation and so much more. Well worth a visit best holiday to date.

Fabulous hotel, friendly staff although awfully slow service in the bar. The restaurant was a complete rip off. Very clean and quiet room and ideally situated. Over all a fantastic place to stay.
