Mayflower Inn & Spa, Auberge Collection

We had a wonderful time at the Mayflower Inn & look forward to returning. The food, drink, decor, ambiance, experience classes & most notably the service from the staff was incredible. Can’t remember when we had better service recently.. everyone was awesome! Standouts from the staff were Emily, Michelle, Chef Luke, Danilo, Eric, Jillian & Joe. The property is beautiful and is a wonderful place to have a relaxing vacation. We had an issue at the Spa but the staff took care of it promptly. Important to make sure a 60 minute massage is not 48 minutes instead. I believe the guest should decide the tip based on service and not have a mandatory 22% applied. No incentive to the spa staff to give a quality, properly timed massage. Other than that, it was a perfect visit!

What an amazing stay. Everything from the spa experience, fabulous drinks in the lounge, a breathtaking dining experience with the Boulud tasting menu, and especially the drinks at the firepit to end the night. World class. Can't wait to return.

The Mayflower was honestly the best lodging experience we have ever been to. The spa was phenomenal, the staff were so attentive and they personalized our experience to really make it special for our baby moon. I cannot recommend them enough. I will be going back

★★★★★ A Beautiful Escape with Gracious Service My sister and I had a wonderful stay at the Mayflower Inn & Spa while celebrating her birthday. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit. The property itself is stunning. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and the herb garden was one of my favorite spots to wander through. Every corner of the inn feels peaceful and thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect place to slow down and relax. The outdoor pool is absolutely lovely—quiet, elegant, and a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. We also enjoyed lunch there, and the burger was surprisingly one of the highlights of the trip: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The spa was relaxing overall, but there was one aspect that fell short of expectations. I was disappointed that there isn’t a traditional indoor sauna. Instead, the sauna is located outside in a small barrel-style structure that comfortably fits only one or two people. It felt a bit cramped and didn’t offer the serene spa experience I was hoping for. Even with that, the overall experience was exceptional. Between the beautiful grounds, outstanding hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and tranquil atmosphere, the Mayflower Inn is a special destination that I’d happily return to.

Try to avoid big “whole property” events and rooms on the third floor (no elevator). The accommodations are excellent, the staff capable and helpful, and the food very good.

Mayflower Inn is a charming and welcoming retreat with a peaceful, cozy atmosphere. The spa and pools were amazing, and the food was excellent—especially the lobster rolls, which were absolutely wow-worthy! We also loved playing Scrabble in the lobby and enjoying the delicious morning coffee. Every detail made our stay relaxing, memorable, and truly special.
