Altara Suites Da Nang by AHG

We had a very nice stay in one of the Bliss Suite rooms. Cleaning staff were very thorough and I appreciate that they came in the afternoon while we were at the beach rather than first thing in the morning. The kitchen table had a little cosmetic damage and I kinda wish the spatula that was provided was silicone rather than steel but everything was functional and met our needs. Other thing worth noting is there didn't seem to be any basic TV channels so bring your own media and HDMI cable if you want to make use of the TVs (can't remember if it had any smart apps available). Location puts you right across the street from the beach but for our stay it was hit and miss. There seemed to be a lot of trash on this section of the public beach at the time although I assume it was just bad timing. It only took a short walk to find a better area so no big deal at the end of the day. The only major complaint I have is the elevator situation. Staff don't seem to have their own service elevator and things get pretty hectic during the busy times of the day. Be prepared to call the elevator a little before you head out the door if you're going up to the restaurant or down to the lobby. Breakfast was great, had plenty of options (although kinda limited in protein if that matters to you) and all the restaurant staff were very kind. The restaurant doesn't open for dinner but there are plenty of options nearby and also Grab delivery if you rather stay in. Overall we really enjoyed out stay here and would recommend it if you're looking for a beach location in Da Nang. With any luck, we'll be back next year too.

Stayed here during a gals trip! View from balcony looks right onto the construction across but if you angle your head you can catch a glimpse of the coastline. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Comes with a decent kitchenette, and a dryer which we couldn’t figure out how to operate. Room felt humid in part due to the constant rain, this we understand cannot be helped due to the recent flooding situation in Hoi An. We are grateful for the stay. I would propose for them to consider providing dehumidifiers in bedrooms if situation persist, so rooms don’t become dank. Overall a comfortable stay and would consider coming back.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Unsafe and Poorly Maintained My recent stay at this hotel was deeply frustrating and concerning. What should have been a comfortable retreat turned into a series of unpleasant and unsafe experiences. • The window view was only partially blocked by surrounding buildings, but still made the room feel dark and confined. • Water leaks were present in the restaurant, my room, and even the balcony—clearly a sign of poor maintenance. • I found a cockroach in the bedroom, which is unacceptable and reflects serious hygiene issues. • The sofa was uncomfortable, and the bedding looked worn and neglected. Housekeeping seems inattentive at best. • Most alarming: I was trapped in the elevator twice due to severe electrical blackouts. This was terrifying and completely avoidable with proper infrastructure. • Breakfast was disrupted by another blackout—no air conditioning, no lighting, and a generally miserable atmosphere. A hotel should be a safe and welcoming home for travelers. This one failed on every front. I would absolutely not recommend staying here until major improvements are made.

Nice location, very convenient. My only critique is the apartment is older than expected, but overall is good.

Everything works out well except the lift was a bit slow. Good location and set up for family travel.

Suite was very clean and nice. Delicious breakfast, great views from room, easy and conevnient check in. Recommended
