Mercure Shanghai Hongqiao SOHO

My flight landed at Pudong Airport late at night, and it was too late to take the high-speed train home, so I found a hotel along Metro Line 2 at the last minute. It turned out to be great! It's very close to Songhu Road Metro Station, just a few minutes' walk. The room wasn't small and was quite clean, and the breakfast was unexpectedly good. Next time I come to Shanghai, I think I'll choose Mercure by Trip.com again.

This hotel is great for business trips. The location is excellent, right next to the subway station and close to the train station. The front desk service was very good, and the breakfast was incredibly rich; they recently added pizza, which was delicious. The cleaning staff were also wonderful; the room was very clean, and they always greeted guests. I'm satisfied and will definitely come back again.

Whenever I need a hotel near Hongqiao, Mercure is always my top choice. It's super convenient to get to: just take Line 2 from Hongqiao Station or the airport, get off at Songhong Road Station Exit 5, and you're there. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The laundry room with six washers and six dryers is incredibly efficient, and the gym has enough equipment for a good workout. The surrounding area is well-equipped with malls, restaurants, and commercial complexes. It's perfect for a relaxing stroll after a busy business trip or for business dinners!

Convenient and quiet with excellent service. Breakfast was fantastic, and the housekeeping staff were very attentive. I'll definitely come back again.

I visited Shanghai during the rainy season and chose to stay at the Mercure hotel for the first time, and everything went smoothly. Check-in was a breeze, and the room was clean, comfortable, and free from stuffiness, dampness, or any odd smells. If I needed laundry done, I'd just place my clothes in the laundry bag, hang it outside the door, make a call, and a staff member would come collect it. Within an hour or so, my clean, warm, and dry clothes would be returned – super convenient! I wish I had known, I would have packed fewer clothes. Food deliveries were brought up by a robot, so I didn't have to go to the lobby to pick them up. The room also came with four complimentary bottles of water, tea bags, and drip coffee. But I especially want to rave about the breakfast buffet (see picture below). I'd come back again just for the food; I seriously regret not having a bigger stomach, haha! Plus, all the staff were polite and professional. My stay was excellent, I honestly can't find a single fault.

The location is great, it's a maximum 10-minute walk to the subway station, which is very convenient for getting to Hongqiao Airport. The room was clean and came with a selection of different pillows. The flowers were also very pretty.

I was very satisfied with the room; it was clean and the facilities were great. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. The front desk lady provided excellent service; she was beautiful and kind-hearted.
