Let me give an objective review of my experience at Six Senses Rome, hoping it can be a reference for those with high expectations. The hotel's hardware and decor are impeccable; as long as you overlook the service and attention to detail, you can enjoy a wonderful Roman holiday. 1. Due to an upgrade paid for at the front desk, the hotel offered a complimentary airport transfer service. When I went to book the car at 7:30 AM on the day of departure, I was chastised by the front desk staff, who rudely pointed out that a card in the room specifically stated that advance booking was required. However, the staff who handled my check-in the previous day knew I was flying out at 9 AM the next day but failed to inform me that this service needed to be booked a day in advance. Do they expect guests to meticulously study every card in the room all night? Although the service was eventually provided, and I admit I didn't think to book in advance, it should be the hotel's obligation to consider guests' needs thoroughly. 2. On the day of arrival, it had just stopped raining in Rome. The outdoor garden in the lobby was beautiful, but the tables, chairs, and sofas were all covered with rainproof tarps. The next morning, to my surprise, even though it hadn't rained for a while and sunny weather was forecast, the tarps were still haphazardly covering everything. The staff's laziness was astonishing. 3. I was almost among the first guests at breakfast, yet the food looked like a mess. Jars of butter and jam were less than half full, and the butter had stirring marks and food residue in it. There were clearly no other guests yet! As I was about to ask if breakfast wasn't ready, I noticed that the large wooden platter for mangoes only had a tiny slice left and some residual juice. Had yesterday's mess not been cleaned up? The server quickly cleared it away, telling me that breakfast was, of course, ready. The leftover mango utterly shattered my impression of Six Senses. I couldn't come up with a reasonable explanation. I'd rather believe the staff ate it all themselves than think they forgot to clean up yesterday's leftovers. For a top-tier luxury hotel, details and service should be impeccable, but what I experienced these past two days was nothing short of fumbling and blatant attempts to cover up shortcomings. The only positive impression came from the African porter at the entrance, whose warmth and kindness were genuine, and who was diligent and meticulous in his work. I chose Six Senses to ensure my brief trip to Rome would be perfect, but it turned out to be the most imperfect part of the journey. It's a shame, and I don't think it will change.

Superb place. Elegant decor, great room. Beautiful service and lovely breakfast. Roof top bar and restaurant is very nice. Food really good and reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel such as this.

The service was excellent. We really liked the location -- right in the centre, but still quiet, calm and private. It was a bit of a pity that the rooftop restaurant was closed during our stay, but the rest was great, thanks a lot!

We arrived at the hotel at 3:30 PM on November 10th, only to find that the room assigned was different from our booking. After much communication, the hotel made us wait in room 105 (a twin room), which was very noisy and not fully booked that day. The staff verbally promised to handle it in 15 minutes, but we waited for 3 hours! Even more outrageous, while we were waiting, I insisted on having the 1.8-meter king-size bed from our booking, and the hotel actually sent two staff members to try and push the twin beds together to make one king-size bed! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and the hotel not only didn't decorate, but when we asked the duty manager to explain, none of them came forward. Finally, the Ctrip platform was reliable; after some negotiation, they changed us to a smaller king-size room and tried to appease our anger. But waiting for the hotel to resolve the issue wasted half a day of our trip! Then, the breakfast on November 12th shocked me again! The ingredients were not fresh, the fruit was rotten, and before breakfast was even over, we couldn't find any plates to put the food on. When I asked the staff member who took our order (a middle-aged woman of medium build and thinness) for plates, she gave me six small saucers meant for cups! I don't believe Six Senses failed to provide proper staff training, because when I asked another regular waiter for a plate, he gave me a normal-sized plate for food. Even the water glasses in the room weren't properly washed and dried before being used by guests. So, during our three-day stay, the hotel failed to provide the service and accommodation experience expected of a hotel of this brand. It even felt like the hotel mistreated us because we were Chinese, treating us like we were uncultured. 🙃

The hotel restaurant is delicious, there is a staff member at the front desk who can speak Chinese, the location is also very good, you can walk to the attractions, I added 9900 per night to get a terrace suite, the shower room has a problem with the water, I will stay again next time

The entire hotel staff is friendly and enthusiastic. The front desk guy explained the hotel facilities in detail and helped us upgrade the room type. There was a curtain in the room that I found in the middle of the night that I couldn't put down. The maintenance staff arrived within 5 minutes and helped me to restart it. 👍The next day was Valentine's Day. The hotel gave biscuits and chocolates. I mentioned to the front desk guy that the chocolates made by the hotel were delicious and even wanted to buy them back as gifts. That night, I was given a big bowl. The next day, when I checked out, I was given another bag. It really focuses on a request that is met. A very good stay experience! ! ! 👍

The hotel's location is very central, the interior design is exquisite and low-key, and it is a very comfortable urban oasis. Friendly service is a plus Highly recommend the SPA service, the masseur's skills and the overall environment are first-rate.

The location is very convenient. Most attractions are within walking distance. The staff from the front desk to the restaurant and everywhere are very friendly. There are not many breakfast options. You can choose from a la carte or buffet. The staff at the Roman Bath is super nice and gave a very detailed explanation. The space and variety inside are not very large, but it is not bad for a simple experience. The room is relatively small. The public area is more beautiful. The cassina furniture is a big plus. Recommended for friends who don't want to visit attractions during the day and want to rest more in the hotel. Although the price is not cheap, the overall experience is very good. I will stay here again if I have the chance to come to Rome
