We had the most lovely lunch at the restaurant at the hotel earlier this week. The food was exquisite (fish and rib eye) and the service was impeccable. Jaime is a charming host and we were so pleased to discover his hotel and lovely cool restaurant on an impossibly hot day. We capped off the meal with a private tour of the wine cave. The best meal of our vacation!

We only stayed for one night, and it was the most special night of our 3 week adventure in Europe!! Everyone should stay here, learn about the wine and wine making process during the tour, and enjoy the very best dinner at their restaurant - you can’t miss this!!

It is a beautiful, historic hotel/bodega with an underground wine cellar and options for meals at the restaurant. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the staff were friendly. We did the wine cellar tour which was amazing. Highly recommend.

This is now my #1 most favorite place I have ever stayed in Spain. I am a frequent traveler and if possible, in the furtive I’ll plan to visit this hotel every time I travel to Spain. It was clean, beautifully decorated, peaceful, and quiet. The staff was amazing. The food was excellent. The town was lovely. I was working on a large writing project while traveling and spent many hours in the lounge upstairs and on the balcony, feeling so comfortable while writing! If I had the whole trip to do over, I would have stayed there for many days and skipped my other stops. I truly can’t wait to go back!

Great place! Stylish old charming house (from 1619!), with their own produced wine cellar. Big nice rooms, quite area. Friendly staff, great dinner (breakfast okay)

We stayed 2 nights in the Hotel which is a historic “Posada” from 1619! The property was flawless and beautiful. The room was amazing and gave you the feeling of going back in time and spending a few nights surrounded by 17 century history. The owner, Javier, was wonderful and took personal interest in our stay being the best possible. Like the restaurant so much we ate there both nights! The sea bass was wonderful by the way. The town of LaGuardia is a walled medieval town which hasn’t changed much, just magical. I don’t say this often, but I’m definitely returning!

We had a great time staying here. We were on a cycle tour and this is one of the hotels that was prebooked for us. We were met on the street by our host who was welcoming and extremely friendly. The rooms and ambiance of the hotel were charming and very true to the origins of the building. We did the wine tour and tasting (not to be missed) with our very knowledgeable guide who walked us through the unique wine making process they have and the history of the city (and hotel). We had embraced the local custom of dining late and even though we were the only ones in the dining room, there was no rush and the meal was excellent. This stay and experience was one of the highlights of our Spanish adventure and I can’t state this enough. As an aside the wine they produce is excellent.

Javier, the property owner was very personable and took great care to make our stay special… I would highly recommend his hotel (and restaurant) which were nothing short of amazing!
