Malioboro Palace Hotel

Location very close to Malioboro road. The price is so worth it. Breakfast is good, meet the expectation of a 1 star hotel. The staff members are kind and helpful, but you need to tell the receptionist if your room needs to be cleaned, otherwise your room will be left as it is. But overall the services are good and very worth it.

Don't! Chosen at last minute because we wanted some place to extend our stay closer to our existing hotel. Location good and close to Maliboro road . Room (06) bare like a prison cell, toilet smells, bare cistern wobbly whenever you flush. Old mayress sagging and old furnture that seems to have been bought from. A second-hand shop. Internet seemed to be switched off at night , breakfast terrible with white bread and a sandwich press , fluorescent orange 'juice', indeterminate spread and chocolate sprinkles, the local rice dishes that looked like they were a day old. Thank goodness it was only single night .
