Anook Signature Hotel Seoul Guro

I traveled with my parents and elementary school-aged child, and honestly, the room condition wasn't great. The carpet under the sofa was black with some unidentified red liquid, and there was so much hair everywhere! The toilet paper roll in the bathroom was almost empty, who knows how long it had been there, with a new roll just sitting on top. My parents are easygoing, so they still enjoyed themselves comfortably without complaint, and my child had a blast in the pool! So, despite the room, it was a smooth and enjoyable trip overall.

I stayed on the Pent Suite floor. First off, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, explaining everything in great detail. The room itself was spacious and excellent. My only minor gripes were the lack of power outlets near the bed and the loose indirect lighting glass in the living room, which seemed to need repair. Also, I wanted to open the windows in the pool area and bathroom, but there were no screens, so I couldn't for fear of insects coming in. That was a bit disappointing too. The late-night noodle service, perhaps because it's summer, came with cold broth that was frozen solid, making the noodles stiff and hard to eat. Given how good the hotel's facilities are and how well the air conditioning works, it might be worth considering serving hot noodles even in summer. The gym and sauna were absolutely superb. The robot café on the top floor had all coffee items sold out, so I couldn't get anything, but the space itself was clean and had a great atmosphere, making me think it would be lovely to enjoy a cup of coffee there on a cool day. This was a hotel with such great service that I'd love to visit again. I returned with fond memories of my stay. Thank you.

Two rooms for a family trip. Additional notes: We stayed on the 16th and 15th floors. The air conditioning was too cold and noisy, which is quite common in Korean hotels. I think they should clean more frequently, and it would be great if they had at least one staff member dedicated to the late-night ramen service, as it currently feels a bit neglected. I'm leaving this review hoping it helps them improve in the future.

This place is really great! The overall service attitude was exceptionally good, warm and thoughtful, making one feel very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, and I felt very safe staying there. Definitely recommend!

Although it's a bit of a walk from the nearest station, the room was spacious and comfortable, and having a Daiso and Olive Young nearby was really convenient. The bathroom was also big and had a bathtub, which was great for relaxing after a long day, even if there was a bit of splashing. I was surprised when I went to the public bath early in the morning and found towels and room wear scattered about, and amenities quite messy – perhaps before maintenance? The front desk staff were friendly, and the room itself was good, so I'd love to stay here again if I have the chance.

This place is pretty good! 👍 I've been to Seoul many times, but this is my first time staying in a residential area. It's not close to any of the major attractions (which is fine by me, as I don't visit them anyway). It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Line 2 (the circular line), which I found quite pleasant for a morning or evening stroll. I didn't try the breakfast as it seemed a bit pricey. There's a CU convenience store downstairs where you can grab breakfast. If you're ordering delivery, make sure to use the Google Maps address, otherwise it might be incorrect. There's also a free sauna available for guests.
