Wonderful hotel. The people who looked after us were amazing. Couldn’t do enough for you. Even the American gentleman who ‘needed’ 2 more pillows to make 6 in total his room. 🤔 However some aspects of the rooms are a bit dated, but that shouldn’t spoil your stay. I can’t complain about the spa tub as we got it as an upgrade. But if I was paying for this as an extra I would have been very disappointed, as the area is very neglected. Decking is rotten and all in all not the most welcoming of spaces to relax in.

The Hotel is in a beautiful quiet position up on the hill near the Chateaux des Villandry. The rooms have recently been renovated and the owners are very helpful.

Really everything about the hotel was excellent. The location is a short walk to the Villandry chateau. It is also an excellent location for people using bikes. There were a good number of thém parked on the grounds. With the heat we were looking for a place with air conditioning. This was one of the very few. It was relaxing and quiet. Good food, welcoming staff. We rate it highly.

Bonjour! We loved this place. A property that has a rich history refreshed by a family working together. The food was excellent and homemade. Plenty to eat as well. A lovely room to have pre dinner drinks. Not expensive and great value for money. The rooms were very comfortable as Well. Our hosts were wonderful people too. Merci Beaucoup !

The accommodations were nicely sized and extremely organized and clean. More importantly, we were greeted warmly at every corner and everything was done to make sure we were comfortable. We highly recommend a stay. And the food was good also.

The hotel is comfortable with welcoming staff. The room and bed were very good, while the bathroom lacked a few useful bits of equipment, in particular any aid for getting in and out of the bath shower. That operation for elderly and not so mobile people was a challenge and the bath floor itself was slippery and needed some form of anti-slip material. The two dinners we had were unimaginative, lacked vegetables and were uncompetitive with the restaurant meal we had in the centre of Villandry, which was similarly priced and much better. The highlight of a three night stay was a 45 minute massage, excellently performed.

This large chateau was renovated by the present Owners/family in 2012 and the hospitality is demonstrated in their care and excellent customer service. It has an elevator, all services and everything works. It is homely and comfortable and so quiet when I visited. I loved every minute there
