We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a great variety of tasty and fresh options every day. The staff were amazing – always friendly, helpful, and smiling, which made the atmosphere feel very welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and the sea view was simply breathtaking. Everything felt comfortable and well taken care of. Truly a “wow” experience from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful suite, directly on the beach. Nice pool and bar. Breakfast very eclectic. Staff very friendly and place is very clean. Only downside is it’s a bit out of the main town so you do have to get a Tuk Tuk as too far to walk. Also take some ear plugs as traffic from the road can be noisy in the morning. Bed is really comfortable and shower is good pressure. Thank you for a lovely stay

A beautiful boutique hotel with incredibly kind and attentive staff. The food was excellent, and the rooms are lovely with stunning views. One of the most special experiences during our stay was releasing the newborn baby turtles into the sea. It was truly magical and heartwarming to see how much care the hotel puts into protecting these animals and helping the turtles safely reach the ocean. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this place.

Lovely 3 nights at this beautiful boutique hotel. Staff couldn’t be more helpful including sorting us out with tuktuks on our driver’s day off. Hotel is outside Mirissa but we got a ride to Coconut Hill for the view across Mirissa Beach, followed by a long walk along the shore to the other end and back. Food good, lovely swimming pool with plenty of sun beds.

Lantern Boutique Hotel was the perfect hotel to wind down after a prior busy trip round Sri Lanka. It is a small, detail oriented hotel set on the beach just outside the busy town of Mirissa. Boasting excellent customer service, food and staff, the hotel is well equipped and nothing is ever too much to ask for the staff. Nuwan always made sure our room was tidy and turned down in the evening and, like all staff, did everything with a great smile on his face.

Lovely location and rooms with views to the sea. The staff looked after us very well and we had a wonderful time. This corner of Sri Lanka close to the lively town of Mirissa and the snorkeling beach at Polhena is a perfect combination of tranquility and fun.
