The Kee Resort & Spa

Stayed in pool access room which was lovely. Love the thick comfortable pool beds and yellow and white decor. Pool water too cold for me at this time of year ~ great at Christmas time or Songkran. Unfortunately, there is minimal sun to sun-bake after 13:00 due to being surrounded by buildings. Restaurant food extremely average and not a substancial Thai menu / very Western (once got half a lime with food but it was already used / squeezed, but not on my food). Getting coffee and shakes takes a long time ~ often coming after food has arrived. The waiters at the restaurant (down stairs) were beautifully polite and sweet. Cleaners were fantastic (especially ‘Bilan’ who cleaned so well and gave the place more of a friendly vibe which I liked). Front of house / reception staff diligent and polite. Too much smell of synthetic ******** for me which was a shame as I travelled with young daughter (both felt sick whenever someone would light up next door). Great location. Would come again for the location perhaps and hopefully there will be less and less ******** shops when current ******** business’ licences run out (within a year fingers crossed!). Law has changed, however I’m sure the selling of ******** will continue for some time (hope some of these businesses don’t have five year licences. ‘Horse has bolted’. Moved to another hotel further away and no smell of ********.
