Gran Hotel del Coto

Pedazo de bufé para comer con muchísima variedad y todos los recepcionistas y trabajadores del hotel súper simpáticos una pedazo de piscina súper limpia pero había otra que no estaba abierta

The Gran Hotel del Coto is a great hotel with all kinds of services and entertainment for the little ones that they will love. The room I stayed in is spacious, well laid out and cosy. There were a couple of things that we had to report at reception but they were corrected correctly. The food was plentiful, great and very, very tasty, with a great variety and different kinds of products for all tastes, good desserts and good fruit. We really liked the live performances at the Parranda as in previous years and the entertainment. Although 2 great entertainers left, the current ones are very good and friendly, eager to work and do things well so that we have a fun and lively holiday. We will return next year.

It was a bit of a struggle to get there but in the end it was worth it. It is true that it has a classic decor but we loved it. The pool that people complain about so much was accessible and not crowded, the room was large and had wonderful views, the entertainment was fun, the performances were entertaining and the 5th floor was wonderful. We also ate very well. And the beach is five minutes away, quiet and very pretty. The staff was attentive and efficient and the girl in the shop was lovely. We would come back 🙂

Disorganized and expensive. It's outrageous how careless they are, the unequal treatment for each client and depending on the day, the organizational chaos or the slowness of the services. It is especially noticeable in the dining room, the quality has dropped, the repetitive dishes, the issue of drinks not included (not even tap water) and expensive. With the change of management, not only have prices gone up (twice as much as last year for groups) but there is also a lack of attention. The new waiters/waitresses at the bar or dining room confront the client and the older ones ignore everything, in the reception service they are overwhelmed by lack of personnel, they are slow and inefficient, and in the rooms they don't look good either. The facilities are half closed and the cleanliness in common areas, pool, etc. leaves much to be desired... A disaster and a disappointment last year was a pleasant surprise, this year I will surely not return

I think the title of "Great" is completely unnecessary, as soon as we arrived we were surprised to find that at the end of June the large pools were closed and practically abandoned, there is only one square one where it is almost impossible to find a space... The room was small and dirty, the walls were scary, they had stains all over them, ours communicated with another room with a closed door, but the noise from the TV and the racket was unbearable, and not to mention the sofa bed, low, small, short... my son had to sleep in the middle of ours because the mattress was no more than 2cm... The only thing we found half decent was the restaurant, very typical hotel food, and quite a bit of variety. In short, we will not return.

Hola somos María del Pino y Carmelo Carlos, habitación 3079 Gran Hotel del Coto, Matalascañas. Estuvimos desde el 02/05/2026 hasta el 09/05/2026. Empezamos lógicamente por la entrada...el personal de recepción, muy muy profesionales y muy agradables, continuamos con las camareras de pisos de 10, seguidamente con el personal del Comedor Atlántico, espectacular el personal y, la comida muy variada y muy buena, los desayunos muy completos, tratamos al personal de cocina personalmente, cociner@s muy muy buenos y, el resto del Personal también, l@s camarer@s igualmente muy profesionales y, grandes personitas, tenemos que mencionar a 2 de ellas Rocío Sevilla y, Saray personitas como estas no abundan, gracias por el trato hacia nosotr@s, grandes profesionales, continuamos con la tienda de souvenirs, las chicas muy muy agradables y mejor profesionales, hicieron todo lo posible para conseguirle un anillo a mi Sra. y, la sorpresa fue, que lo tenian el último día en tienda, mil gracias de corazón. Seguimos con el personal del bar-cafeteria, personal agradable y profesional...gracias a tod@s por la profesionalidad con los clientes.No dejar de mencionar La Taberna de Manuela, se come maravillosamente muy bien. El hotel está muy bien un poco alejado de todo. La comida buena y variada ,lo mejor el equipo de animación , Adrián, Aroa, juan,vero y Carlos. Son un encanto lo hemos pasado muy bien con ellos haciendo actividades todos los días por la mañana y por la tarde noche

Mi experiencia en este hotel fue excelente. Es un Hotel pensado para familias y se disfruta al máximo con los peques. Si bien las habitaciones pudieran renovarse, es una realidad que la calidad del servicio y la atención del personal hacen que tu estancia sea excepcional . Mi peque adoraba el parque y su área infantil en La Pecera y además las cenas temáticas hacían el buffet mas divertido e interesante. Muy buena opción y muy cerca de la playa, tiene una pasarela de madera que te conduce directamente. Quisiera saber si tienen en cuenta a clientes repitentes, para por ejemplo mantener una misma habitación u otros detalles. Me encantaría repetir este verano con vosotros.
