MAD Monkey Hostel Bangkok @ Rambuttri Village Khaosan Area

It’s a very bad ‼️hostel they don’t allow you to bring food or drink from outside the hostel cafe bar so they rip you off by their own expensive 2x price The rooms are old and small there are not showers outside the rooms The area around is like an old prison The staff at the reception has no welcoming behavior The toilet seats 💺 are too small designed for kids Don’t waste your time and money 💰

You will never feel that you are a solo travelar...when you checkout your mind will be upset

What a place! Shout out to all the amazing staff there, they know how to create memories, recommend to everyone.

I would recommend this hostel if you enjoy partying and meeting new people. The Khao San area is great—very walkable, full of restaurants, and there’s a beautiful spot nearby to watch the sunset by the water. It’s not very close to the city center, though. Cleanliness could definitely be improved. The staff aren’t particularly welcoming, but they’re not rude either. One thing to note is that when staff are at reception, it would be more professional if they avoided speaking Thai among themselves in front of guests, as it can feel uncomfortable—especially when there’s laughing and pointing, which may give the wrong impression.

Very easy to make friends and pool there is chill

Staff was really good and energetic and always ready to help.. they also provide me early check-in.
