Favos Ninh Binh Hotel & Villas

This hostel is of very low quality. They have water leakage problems in the rooms and common areas when it rains. There's no hot water in the showers; I had to shower with cold water for 3 days. The buffet only has 2-3 items, and once they're gone, they don't restock. If you're staying for just one night, it might solve your problem, but it's not recommended for multiple days.

They offer early check-in and late check-out for an extra fee! This made our full 2-day, 1-night stay very comfortable. We also rented bikes and explored the nearby lake, which was great!

The room is small but cozy. They didn't clean it once in 4 days. The toilet smelled like sewage, and the pool was dirty. I also wouldn't recommend renting scooters directly from the hotel. They gave us a moped that kept stalling. When I asked to exchange it, the guy at the reception said that such a poor condition is normal for Vietnam.

We arrived quite late on the first night, and our driver had some difficulty finding Favos. The air conditioning in our initially assigned room (Room 201) wasn't working well, so the staff moved us to another room (Room 101). On the second night, the AC in the original room still hadn't improved, so we were moved again to a third room (D3). By the third night, they let us choose any available room, as there were many empty ones. The owner and all staff members were incredibly hospitable, proactively helping us with our luggage every time and doing their best to assist with any requests (including bike rentals and booking local tours). Note: We weren't keen on Favos' breakfast, so we opted to have breakfast at a nearby Homestay, Tam Coc Moment Homestay, which I highly recommend.
