Hotel El Palace Barcelona

I experienced the most shocking racial discrimination ever at this hotel. The hygiene was appalling, and the service was absolutely terrible. I stayed for four nights during the National Day holiday at a rate of 5,500 per night, and the experience was utterly horrendous. I hope anyone reading this review will think twice before booking this hotel. Here are the issues I encountered: 1. The room had a sour odor, though I'm not sure if it was just this specific room. 2. The toilet makes strange noises when it rains—I even recorded a video of it. 3. There were events held on two of the four nights of my stay, lasting until 1 or 2 AM. Sleeping was completely out of the question. 4. When both white guests and we were at the hotel entrance, the doorman chose to open the door for the white guests and then closed it in our faces, ignoring us and walking away. I'm not saying we don't have hands or that we rely on a doorman to open doors, but the differential treatment was far too blatant. This happened no less than 3 times during my stay, and I felt it necessary to share this to warn fellow travelers.

The room is large and clean. The service is also very good. I will stay again if I have the chance.

My favorite hotel I've stayed in recently. The room is very exquisitely decorated and tasteful, and the overall color tone is very comfortable. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. I was impressed by the floor of the shower room. It was like stepping on the rocks by the sea. Although it was a bit rough, it was very non-slip and made you feel like you were at the beach in a second. Our family of four booked two rooms. The hotel was very considerate to connect the two rooms together, which made it very convenient for us to use. The location is also very good, walking distance to Casa Batlló, and shopping is also very convenient. The bakery across the street and the brunch at the restaurant across the road are very delicious.
