Dar Dadicilef is a wonderful experience - a beguiling old building beautifully restored and decorated throughout in Chefchaouen blue. The furnishings are elegant and have been very well chosen to enhance the dream-like atmosphere of the place. Location is great, right in the heart of Chefchaouen. Staff are friendly, though the effort here goes into the presentation rather than the service - unlike in most riads and dars we've experienced in Morocco there is no mint tea on arrival, and breakfast doesn't start until 9 (though you can request it half an hour earlier). However, overall this was a very good experience. Listen out for the muezzin singing (very beautifully) the Tahlil before the first call to prayer in the morning - a wonderfully evocative sound.

Very pleasant stay. The room was good and comfortable, with a firm bed—I slept extremely well. I also enjoyed the large Roman-style bath/shower in the room, which was a great way to start the day. Abdu was an excellent host—calm, kind, and very attentive. He prepared a nice breakfast and gave great recommendations for restaurants, nature spots, and visiting the waterfalls. Overall, while not high-end, the riad is comfortable and the warm hospitality makes it a great place to stay.

We stayed one night at Dar Dadicilef and had an amazing experience. Our room was spacious, lovely and clean, and of course blue to keep with the traditional vibe of Chefchaouen! The father and son who run the hotel were welcoming and friendly, and when we ran into them at a local restaurant, they were happy to chat and give lots of amazing recommendations! The breakfast provided was exceptional and we got the opportunity to eat in the lovely sunny garden (we still dream about the homemade cake)! The price we paid was completely reasonable, if not even a little low for how well we were treated and how nice the accommodation was. We already look forward to coming back!

Dar Dadicilef was my sanctuary from the Medina. The father and son who run the place were incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions I had. The beds had extra bankets so I stayed very cozy all night. The breakfast was always so delicious. Every night they start a fire and you can relax, read a book, listen to people strum the guitar and chat with other travelers. I really loved my experience here and highly recommend. I stayed in the 4 bed mixed dorm, I’m sure the private rooms are even nicer. I hope to be back.

It’s more than what you’d expect from a “budget stay” we got one of the private rooms and it was very very reasonable for two nights. The place is adorable and blue, of course. The man running the front is sweet and welcoming. There is no heating in the room, so if traveling during winter months like I did, keep that in mind. It got quite cold inside but they provided us with many thick warm blankets so not too big of an issue!

Nice little place in a great position in the medina, not far from the main square and kasbah. We stayed in the cheapest twin room which is very small and you need to walk down to the ground floor to use the shared toilet. Everything was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They speak several laguages, including very good English. The view from the roof terrace, particularly at sunset, is wonderful and the free breakfast served in the ground floor garden is great. Very good value overall but next time we would pay a little extra for one of the larger rooms.

Carino e particolare. Semplice con quasi nessun accessorio in camera, ma la wifi funzione bene. Colazione ok (considerati altri posti in Marocco).

Purtroppo poco riscaldata. Colazione ottima con prodotti fatti in casa. Posizione perfetta per visitare la medina.
