Andaz Macau

Long queues for check-in, and the staff showed no apology whatsoever. Stood for a full 40 minutes with no available seats. The lobby is so huge, yet it felt like a barren space where you're made to stand in a corner. With so many counters, I initially thought it was due to too many guests, but it turned out the check-in staff were just too chatty, talking about useless things. The much-hyped Grand Resort Deck online? Getting there from Andaz was incredibly inconvenient, truly, truly inconvenient!!! If you're considering staying at Andaz to visit the Grand Resort Deck, think twice!!!! It's just Galaxy. Totally demystified it for me. The room was quite nice, after all, it's a new hotel. But none of the services met expectations. Sigh. Good thing I only booked one night. If you want to store something, the ground floor won't take it, and the guy had a very unhelpful attitude. The gentleman in the last photo? His attitude was terrible; I'm complaining about him. I've stayed at Andaz Xiamen, and the difference with Andaz Macau is just too great.

The facilities, environment, cleanliness, and service were all impeccable! Absolutely fantastic! Complimentary minibar (including alcoholic beverages): Refilled daily as soon as it's finished~ GalaWave Lagoon tickets (up to 2 adults and 2 children): Superb! Ying Kee Bakery souvenirs: Delicious! It's perfect for family trips, and I've already recommended it to friends for their next visit. Thanks again to Amilia & Xiao Long~

This trip was very satisfying. Traveling with children and seniors was relaxed and enjoyable. Hotel staff Amelia and Pakho were very nice and helped us a lot. Thank you! 🥹

Traveled to Macau with my friend. The hotel was really nice. The overall service was excellent, especially Amelia, Pakho, and Annie, who were all great! The hotel also offers free luggage storage after check-out. There are also some nice lounging areas in the hotel, and the overall arrangements were very well done.

The Skywave Ceramic Garden package was fantastic! The front desk lady and waitstaff were incredibly hospitable and polite. The hotel's cleanliness and facilities were excellent, and the complimentary tea and snacks were a thoughtful touch. I hope they maintain this high standard. It was a wonderful experience!

This is a relatively new hotel under the Hyatt brand. You can also use the kids' club and Grand Resort Deck at Galaxy or Marriott, which are just across the road, making it one of the best choices for families traveling with children in Macau. The lobby lounge offers tea and cookies, and from evening onwards, alcoholic beverages (wine, Macau beer, cocktails) and light snacks are also served. The drinks, cup noodles, and snacks in the room are all complimentary.

After queuing for over an hour to check in, I was told the room wouldn't be ready until 6 PM. Other than that, everything else was good.

This was my second stay at Andaz Macau, and I'd booked two rooms this time. I'd specifically requested a tent for one of the rooms well in advance. We arrived around 8 PM, and the room wasn't even ready! They also didn't give out the peacock plush toys anymore. During check-in, the person for one of the rooms had lost their entry slip at the previous hotel, The Parisian. My phone wasn't working, so I asked the lady at the front desk with a pimple patch to help me call The Parisian to sort it out. She coldly told me Andaz didn't have a phone and I should go to the police station myself to get a new one! The service here really can't compare to Andaz Singapore! I won't be choosing this hotel again next time!

This time, from August 30th to September 1st, I stayed at the Andaz Macau for a 3-day, 2-night trip, and the experience was excellent! Its location is definitely the biggest selling point, as the hotel is right above the Galaxy Arena. After watching the (G)I-DLE concert in Macau, I could go straight up to my room to rest, completely avoiding the hassle of traffic after the show. Moreover, the hotel is very close to the two water attractions I had planned for this trip – the Grand Resort Deck and Studio City – making the itinerary seamless. The room was new and comfortable, the mini-bar was free, and the design was full of modern artistic flair. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to see a show and enjoy water activities in Macau!
