Gorgeous property in castle-like setting with convenient location. The rooms are beautiful The downside are the bathrooms. They are wet with an open shower and poor ventilation. They are in dire need of a deep cleaning. The musty towels and floor/wall grime really put damper on this stay.

Wonderful location and terrace, value for money, great buffet breakfast, lovely team and reception services. Highly recommended for those who would like to visit Mardin, a wonderful historical and cultural city overlooking green plains. A city worth visiting in Turkiye. Hotel personnel is lovely, extra helpful.

This hotel has a great location in the Old City of Mardin. Lots of ambiance and atmosphere. On a practical level, it is quite noisy, and we originally had a large room at the front of the hotel. Too much activity. We asked to change to the other side of the hotel, and the staff helped us immediately. Thank you for doing that! The rooms are large and the bathrooms are adequate for an older hotel. Another consideration was that for November, it was unexpectedly hot, and there was no air conditioning for the winter season, since it was shut off. This meant we had to open the windows, and the noise outside (and call to prayer) was a consideration. The breakfast is in the basement and it was beautiful to sit there in the arcaded rooms. The food was good and ample in a buffet style. The stairs are steep so if one has physical limitations, this might not be for you. The perks of staying here are the proximity to the sites in walking distance around Mardin.
