The GRAND LOTTE SEOUL (Formerly: Lotte Hotel Seoul)

It's super convenient for shopping at Lotte, as it's right downstairs. Myeongdong shopping street is just across the road. However, the TV only had Korean channels, and there was no microwave. Four Seasons Seoul delivers microwaves directly to rooms, and for this price, the Four Seasons offers a much better experience.

The hotel boasts an unbeatable location, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and shopping. While it shows its age a bit, it exudes a charming 'old money' aesthetic from an era of economic prosperity. My room offered direct views of Nanshan Mountain, and the service was prompt and responsive. Both the front desk and concierge staff maintained the exceptionally high standards expected of a venerable luxury hotel.

Extremely convenient location, right outside Euljiro 202 Station (Exit 7 of Line 2). Easy access to malls, duty-free shops, supermarkets, and plenty of dining options. The service was also very nice. The standard room wasn't huge, with just one sink. However, the bedding was excellent; I fell asleep quickly, and the pillows were comfortable. The price was great too, and Lotte definitely seems to have renovated and refreshed their decor! I would consider staying here again next time.

I booked a twin room in the main building, and the view outside the window was directly facing N Seoul Tower. I have to say, the hotel's location is excellent. It's connected to Lotte Duty Free, and Myeongdong is just an underpass away. The subway is also right at the hotel's doorstep, which is super convenient. Even though it's an older hotel, it's well-maintained. The elevators are fast, and the room was cleaned thoroughly every day. I'm very satisfied and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Seoul.

I was sound asleep in the afternoon when a staff member suddenly burst into my room. Ctrip repeatedly refused to take responsibility, showing extreme irresponsibility and a terrible attitude. The room rate was too high for the outdated facilities, and I stayed in a very moldy-smelling room for all four days. The bathroom trash can was the size of a thermos, smaller than my slipper. And when I pulled the toilet paper, it just disintegrated into paper scraps – it was awful.

I stayed in a triple room on the 15th floor. Here's my feedback: 1. The room had excellent soundproofing, making for a quiet stay. 2. There's a direct underground passage from the lobby to Subway Line 2, which goes through Lotte Department Store. 3. There's no direct bus from Gimpo Airport to the hotel, but there is one from Incheon Airport. 4. The hotel description incorrectly states that Evian water is provided. I specifically asked for the English version at the front desk, and it only mentioned bottled water. I'm not sure why the Chinese page specifically highlights Evian when it's not actually available. 5. The closet door in the room was broken and wasn't repaired promptly after reporting it. Because the left side of the closet door was collapsed, the light inside the closet stayed on all night, which isn't ideal for guests who need darkness to sleep. 6. Complimentary toothbrushes are not provided in the room. They are available in the mini-bar for 2,000 KRW each. You can use Lotte Points to redeem them when checking out, though I'm not sure of the exact point value. 7. The gym is good, with a lot of equipment. It's open from 6 AM to 10 PM and has a front desk.

Extremely satisfied! This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Seoul regarding service; the staff are incredibly attentive and proactive. The newly renovated rooms are also very aesthetically pleasing. While the lobby feels a bit dated, it's exceptionally well-maintained and cared for. A word of caution: avoid the Grand Hyatt Seoul. Their service attitude is terrible, and it's all show and no substance.

Super great!!! This was the best hotel we stayed at during this trip. Myeongdong is just across the street. There's even a smoking area if you walk to the intersection from the hotel, haha.
