NOT a place for families with young children, they are not accommodating and some staff were borderline rude. I wouldn’t call this a 4 star hotel at all… Staff member at breakfast told us on our third day to “be careful how much food we take from the buffet” she had been monitoring us the two days prior and felt the need to comment that my children (3yr and 5yr) hadn’t finished everything on the previous days! Only thing to do with kids is go to the outdoor pool (they’re not allowed in the indoor pool) but there is no pool service and you’re not allowed to take a drink with tourists to the pool….they are just not well prepared to be hospitable the way a 4 star hotel should be. On a positive note, the rooms were clean and menu in the bistro was good.

This hotel is in a beautiful location with extensive grounds and several golf courses. The chateau is a lovely centre piece overlooking the lake. We stayed in Relais des Vigiers which is separate accommodation in the grounds. The room was large, very clean and the bathroom had a great shower. There was also an outside seating area. It was ver gomfortable. We also ate in the Bistro and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here.

A delicious weekend in a peaceful and splendid environment. Large and quiet rooms, very clean. A very attentive and pleasant staff who even had a little attention for my companion's birthday. Thank you very much for your kindness!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Château des Vigiers. Le cadre est magnifique, calme et parfaitement entretenu, idéal pour se ressourcer. Le personnel a été particulièrement accueillant, attentionné et professionnel tout au long du séjour. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la qualité de la restauration au Bistrot ainsi que le confort de la chambre. Tout est pensé pour passer un moment agréable, dans une atmosphère élégante et chaleureuse. Un très bel endroit que nous recommandons sans hésiter, aussi bien pour un week-end en couple qu’en famille.
