Lanfeng Hotel

I had an excellent stay at this hotel in Xi’an. The highlight is undoubtedly its exceptional location. It is situated on the charming Xiangzimiao Street, directly in front of the beautiful Han Xiangzi Temple, allowing you to experience the authentic atmosphere of the old city from the moment you step outside. Many of Xi’an’s main attractions are within walking distance, including the South Gate of the City Wall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, the Muslim Quarter, and numerous restaurants, cafés, and bars. It’s the perfect base for exploring the historic center without relying on transportation. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was always polite and helpful, and the overall experience was excellent. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort with one of the best locations in Xi’an’s ancient city, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

A boutique hotel for sure but in the best way! Incredible service from the entire staff. The breakfast was delicious every morning and they even packed us a to go bag the morning we had an early tour. Loved this classic yet modern style in a perfect location.

Super happy to have the opportunity to stay at Lanfeng Hotel for 5 comfortable nights and for my children to enjoy the the spacious and grace of the staff when we ran late on check out day and they are happy to offer us abit of extra time before checking out.  Everyone has been very helpful, offered to help, basically helping me to think of alternatives which I didn’t consider. Much appreciated! Will definitely return to Lanfeng Hotel again on future Xi’an trips.

Cute quaint boutique style hotel. It had everything and yet it gave you the feeling like you were staying at someone's courtyard. The staff was super nice and helpful and they even hot crafts to teach at the entrance. The afternoon tea and breakfast was tasty and pretty.

Great location and amenities! Right on the city wall and by a metro station. Lots of things to see and do in the nearby alleys

I don't believe there is any other hotel in the same part of the inner city wall that has this authentic heritage status, design and ambience. This hotel is what I imagine to be the near perfect intersection of having premium amenities, modern interior design and upscale service along with being a historical type setting for an old site. I stayed close to a week here. The area is very good as it minutes to the south inner city gate Yong Ning Men and the streets surrounding is home to a popular social media destination temple along with a street lined with cozy cafes, bars, live music and shopping stores. There are restaurants, snacks and open til very late convenience stores across the street. It's busy but not so busy on a central tourist hub such as near the bell tower. I had the opportunity to stay at a few rooms here, the superior Queen room is good place to start and there is terrace king? Room with externa window that was wonderful if you value complete peace and quiet. The suite is a nice splurge if you want a dedicated tea room, it is also quiet and isolated but doesn't have much of a external view. The staff and onsite manager responded fast and appropriately with some ill timed issues that happened. They were also excellent at handling ease of life requests where possible. For this I definitely would strongly consider staying again.
