Residence Inn Stamford Downtown

Everything was great about this hotel, but the staff were so HORRIBLE! I go to check in and the girl at the front desk is looking at my ID as if it were fake. It was real by the way. Then she asks her coworker something on the side, and I ask what the problem is. At this point she is comparing it to her own ID and asks me for another form of ID because I looked too young. I am 28. I thought it was very unprofessional and I had to pull up a picture of my passport to confirm. I think there are more professional ways to confirm a persons age! It was absolutely ridiculous and she doesn’t deserve to be working there. Otherwise, the hotel was perfect.

The best looking residence inn I have ever seen. Staff was very nice. Location was the best.

Room was great. Clean comfortable bed. Complimentary breakfast was weak. Need omelet station, cut fruit and decent yogurt.

I overpaid for the fact I believed there to be an indoor pool that my son could use while I went to appointments. Upon check in, the clerk said she thought it was closed. A great example of the apathy that runs rampant in the service industry. She thought they were doing renovations. Ok. Mediocre breakfast. Everything straight up average.

I was very impress with the service, room, and location. There was plenty of options within walking distance.

The room was nice and modern as well as the gym. They advertised a pool and a hot tub but in reality they are part of the property next moor so you have to go out in the cold to use those facilities and the hot in was not hot. The heater was broken.

Beautiful hotel, great location with lots to do in the area.

Parking Lot was full had to use public parking; not ideal when traveling alone with young child.
