Great location, just a short walk around the corner to Taikoo Hui. The room was comfortable and the overall cleanliness was good.

This time in Shanghai, I specifically chose The Middle House, and after checking in, all I can say is, "I made the perfect choice." The hotel is located at 366 Shimen Yi Road, above HKRI Taikoo Hui, just a 2-minute walk from Nanjing West Road subway station. Downstairs, you'll find Taikoo Hui and the LV Maison. The service deserves a special shout-out: front desk staff Fiona, Hedy, Nifty, Arthur, and Cindy were all exceptionally kind and professional. Check-in was efficient, and they thoughtfully explained breakfast times and hotel amenities. They were responsive to all requests but maintained appropriate boundaries, never being intrusive—attention to detail was impeccable. Highly recommend!

The five staff members at the front desk were absolutely fantastic! Leo was professional and efficient, Nick was warm and attentive, Emma was gentle and patient, Alex was clever and flexible, and Katy was thoughtful and considerate. Their teamwork was seamless, and the service throughout our stay was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel!

The overall design perfectly blends Eastern Zen aesthetics with modern luxury. The lobby's bamboo garden creates a wonderfully atmospheric setting, and the guest rooms feature exquisite soft furnishings. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing is exceptional, allowing you to enjoy a serene and pleasant escape in the heart of a vibrant city. My stay was exceptionally comfortable, and I'd like to extend a special thanks to the two front desk staff, Emma and Fiona, as well as concierge Lucas. Emma and Fiona handled the check-in process efficiently and smoothly. They were gentle and approachable, meticulously explaining the room amenities, breakfast times, and hotel benefits. Concierge Lucas was professional and thoughtful, assisting with car arrangements. I look forward to returning next time!

I've always wanted to stay at The Middle House, and since it's been rebranded as The House Collective, I figured I'd finally book a weekend stay to relax and check it out. My 60-square-meter studio was upgraded to a boat-view room, which offered spectacular views. The room tour led by the front office manager was incredibly professional and thoughtful. The room's sound system was a unique touch. I also enjoyed breakfast, the pool, and a meal at Sui Tang Li, all of which were excellent.
