Great location great staff

Evening just a update at your hotel. We both had a wonderful time we asked and paid for sea view and wow what a room and view apartment 870 so close to sea and beach on 2nd floor with a large patio area and 2 sun loungers. The rest of the hotel was fantastic in decor and charm. The restaurant was 1st class plenty of choice breakfast lunch and evening meals. All the staff at hotel from house keeping restaurant reception and bar really good and knowledgeable about their jobs and customers thank you. We will be returning either later in the year or May 2027 and requesting room 870. So finally thank you for giving us a wonderful experience and enjoyable holiday. PS the pool area was great plenty of sunbeds no getting up early to reserve.

Everything about this hotel is superb - staff -rooms- food - pool - friendliness - stayed for a week as a couple ( we live in Spain ) so had a short break would certainly return - only fault television very old - no English - French German Spanish - no option to change language or sub titles ( but who watches tv on holiday - other than that a great break - thank you to all the staff

Visited Hotel Playacaphrico on 12th May for 4 nights with friends. The hotel reception area is really lovely. We were happy with our rooms that were very clean and spacious. Maybe basic by some peoples standards but we were more than happy with it. The staff throughout the hotel are very pleasant and courteous. The pool area is fabulous. Lots of sunbeds. Nice little bar by the pool or just walk through to another little bar in the front overlooking the sea. Drinks were very reasonable and good quality. We visited the indoor bar later in the evening. Some good entertainment on. We stayed half board but went in for breakfast and lunch. Food was absolutely fine. What we expected from a 3/4* hotel.

Had a lovely holiday, spotless hotel on beach, staff all helpful and friendly, reception staff, bar staff and lovely Evangelina in dining room, cleaners etc. Good choice of food and drink. Room really nice too, thank you.

Just spent 11 nights at this typically Spanish hotel. Not much English spoken, mainly Spanish clients. The hotel is old world charm. Reception is lovely with all it's hanging greenery, fountains and sofas and chairs. At the far end is pool table and amusement area. We were in room 307 overlooking pool and sea. Rooms are somewhat dated and need refurbishment. No tea making facilities. Modern bathroom. The safe is an antiquity and needs to be brought up to modern day standards with a key pad and not a key and bolt. Bar area good and served some lovely cakes. Restaurant is like a works canteen. Food is ok, nothing special except for Saturday nights when it's a seafood extravaganza. Fine if you like seafood, then it reverts to same bland food. One thing in the restaurant was the number of young children running around, not good when you are carrying food. Pool area very nice and never had a problem getting a sunbed. Also the proximity to the lovely promenade is first class.

We return to the Playacapricho every June . Yes the hotel is dated in places but the public areas and rooms are kept very clean. We always stay in a ground floor beach suite and would recommend these. The staff are all friendly, rooms cleaned daily, beach towels provided. Majority of customers are Spanish but this adds to the atmosphere. Breakfast is fine but evening meals could be improved a little with more choices. We love the resort area of Roquestas for a break, not rammed with tourists and retains the traditional Spanish feel with it's wonderful tapas bars worth a visit. Will be returning June 27
