The official photos do not do CD Yuenchi justice. The actual location is much more gorgeous than I thought. You’ll be just beside the shopping street around Wenshu Yuan and transported to ancient Chengdu… I enjoyed my morning tea at the many tea houses around the hotel. At the hotel, Xiao Li and Xiao Ran were most helpful and hospitable. We felt we were at a homestay with 5-star service.

Very pretty heritage hotel with plenty of beautifully set up furniture and relax corners. My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The only drawback is the location that is further from city centre but worthy sacrifice. For those concerned with noise, note that the family suites are located on level 2 and might be subject to street noise. Our unit faces the gym and had several commotions at night, at times in the middle of the night.
