The staff here are always friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make every guest feel at home. Don’t miss their daily curated activities (yoga on the beach, batik painting, and more); just remember to book in advance as spots fill up quickly.

The resort is beautiful, and the room was very spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for a getaway. The only downside was the breakfast buffet, which had limited variety and the food quality was average compared to the standard of the resort. Nevertheless, it was still an enjoyable stay, and I would consider returning in the future.

Had a great relaxing stay at Anantara Desaru Coast. We were greeted with an amazing view from the lobby during check in. Rooms were spacious and clean. The swimming pools were nice. I particularly liked the beautiful beach which was suitable for swimming at this time of the year. Only downside was the breakfast which was not up to par.

Beautiful resort set in a very chill and relaxing atmosphere. Staff provided good service and made us feel at home. Breakfast was decent and had a good variety.  The room was clean and cosy and the mini bar was great.  The only area for improvement is probably the room furniture which has some wear and tear and looks a little aged. The bathroom and toilet floors would impress better if given a chemical cleaning.

We had high expectations for Anantara Desaru after hearing it’s one of the best hotels, but sadly the service didn’t really meet our expectations. Some staff were lovely, while some seemed quite moody. Nevertheless, the resort itself is beautiful just not much to do around the area, and even the kids club felt quite boring. After 4 days there…safe to say we probably won’t be coming back 🤣

Such a beautiful places for ideal short vacation. Strongly recommended hotel if you visiting Desaru. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Good to be here and they help us decorate the room and free us a birthday cake as well.
