XuanYuan Homestay

A good place to stay. The hotel owner picked me up from the train station for free and helped with my luggage. She also upgraded my room category free of charge and provided a map, marking where the show included in the ticket starts. You can also buy an entrance ticket through her at a lower price than at the ticket office. The hotel itself is located not far from the entrance, so carrying suitcases isn’t too difficult. It can be noisy in the mornings, and you can hear street noise from the room, but this wasn’t a problem for me. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

the location of this homestay was perfect, inside the ancient town (scenic pass needed to enter). unfortunately the room was very cold when arriving and the AC heating did not warm it up much. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet bowl which was a little inconvenient (as seen in picture) and there was a slight leak of water (not sure from where) around the bottom of the rock wall in the bathroom. the bathroom was not too much of an issue but I think some people may be put off by these slight issues. the hosts were helpful in carrying our bags to the homestay and provided us with a guide on things that were happening in the ancient town that day. thank you for having us.

Inside the scenic area, nice big bed and big room. Very grateful that the owner came to pick me up from the train station!

It is in a amazing location, 5 minutes walking from the main waterfall. The town is incredible!!! The bed and shower was pretty comfortable! I had a problem with the A/C in my room and they changed me to another one smoothly. They picked me up at the train station what was pretty helpful and gentle as I was alone and was night already

Great location right next to the bridge. Room was very clean and comfortable. Owner arranged for us to be picked up at the station for free and also arranged for a return for only 20 yuan. Had a really lovely time.

The host kindly offered pick-up from the train station and also ticket to enter the ancient town (I’d already bought mine from Trip.com - it was priced slightly better than on Klook). The hotel is very near Tuwang Bridge. Although the room is reasonably clean, there was a cleaning rug and the previous guest’s hair clips left at the TV rack. Bottled water is not provided but there’s a water dispenser near the front desk.

Our stay here was a nice experience overall and the location is very convenient. While the room felt a bit more lived-in than the photos suggested, it wasn't a big deal for us. There is some room for improvement regarding the cleaning, particularly in the bathroom and some of the corners, but for the price we paid, it was fair. The host was very flexible, allowing us to do a late check-in and letting us store our bags in the room until our train departed. If you are looking for an affordable, well-located spot with a helpful host, this is a solid choice. She also came to pick us up from the station.
