Spacious room, good facilities and breakfast. The staff is helpful

Tucked quietly between Girona’s medieval lanes and the river, Hotel Nord 1901 feels like a private retreat in the middle of the city. The location is perfect — everything is a short stroll away — yet the hotel itself is calm and unhurried. Our room was generous in size, thoughtfully designed, and wonderfully comfortable after long days exploring the old town. The garden courtyard and pool are a rare luxury in such a central spot, offering a peaceful pause from sightseeing. Service throughout was warm, sincere, and effortlessly professional. A beautifully run boutique hotel that balances character, comfort, and location with ease.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. We were so pleased to have chosen this place to stay for our week of bicycling in Girona. The staff was very accommodating, the room was large and very clean, and we even had a secure room to store our bikes. The location is perfect for getting around after cycling to eat and shop. We’ll be back.

A lot of hall noise. Skylight kept room bright even at night. Photographs in website were significantly better that the actual hotel.

Shower needs some maintenance and room has a bad smelll Comfy bed and great breakfast. Very friendly staff

********** only communicated to the hotel a single room, Not 2 different rooms. I showed them the confirmation I had from ********** (with two rooms) and they showed me their ******* confirmation with only a single room. The hotel also informed me that they were sold out, I had to find another hotel last minute, as I had a dinner meeting 30 minutes later

Excellent staff and location. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of dinning options nearby. Totally walkable.
