Shangquan Lishe Spring Culture (Daming Lake Chaoran Tower)

Facilities: The hotel might be a bit old, visibly so, but acceptable. Cleanliness: Housekeeping cleaned every day, and the staff was quite enthusiastic. Environment: Couldn't be better. It's right on the south side of Daming Lake, and you step out directly onto the lakefront. Service: Very warm and attentive. Shandong specialty souvenir: Gaoliangyi, my child loved it. The only drawback is that it can be a bit noisy around 5 or 6 in the morning, with people occasionally shouting by Daming Lake, which affected our rest.

The hotel is located right within the scenic area, offering fantastic views. They have tatami rooms, which are perfect and very safe for babies who move around a lot in their sleep.

This hotel is conveniently located near Daming Lake and Minghu Residence, making it a short walk to Qushuiting Street. Parking is available at another entrance, and the hotel provides a shuttle service. It's an ideal choice for guests who enjoy early morning park strolls.

The location is pretty good, but the garden view from the garden room was quite ordinary. I have a few issues to raise. First, the staff member who swiped my card seemed inexperienced. They couldn't tell the difference between the chip and the magnetic strip, and roughly swiped my card back and forth as if they were trying to break it in half. Did my card offend them or something? Please improve staff training. Second, there's no laundry room or ironing machine. The ironing machine was broken and there were no replacements. Do you assume guests don't need to iron their clothes? Third, why is the air conditioning so ineffective? If you use the duvet, it gets incredibly hot and doesn't breathe at all. Fourth, is the lighting at the vanity table designed for people who don't wear makeup? The overhead light makes applying makeup impossible, casting terrible shadows.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering warm and attentive service. They even proactively offered luggage storage and transportation via shuttle, allowing us to tour the lake without being burdened by our bags – a very thoughtful gesture. The location is also excellent. Highly recommended!
