Very average hotel. It was once one of the most luxurious hotels in Pittsburgh, but it's been in serious decline. There was almost no service, the phone in the room didn't work (you had to go downstairs to get room service), and the cleanliness was average (there were even stains on the sheets). The shops and restaurants inside the hotel are almost closed. It snowed heavily when we checked in, and we couldn't go out during the day. As a result, there was no food in such a big hotel (only one bar was still open)! Finally, due to the overall design of this hotel, almost all the windows in the basic room types are inward facing (the window is opposite a wall), which makes it a bit claustrophobic.

Pittsburgh's historic hotel was built in 1961. The room looks like an old star hotel. I like the lighting. It's very comfortable to lie down and rest at night. The location of the hotel is also good! The front desk service is a bit poor, but everything else is good! The people at the VALET parking service are very nice, but the hotel doesn’t have slippers or toothbrushes or toothpaste.
