The view was absolutely a-ma-zing and definitely one of the highlights of our stay! The hotel rooms are a little dated, but they were very clean and spacious. The staff was generally very nice, friendly, and polite. The restaurants, however, were quite overpriced for what was offered, and we also found the pool rather disappointing. Unfortunately, we had one unpleasant experience on the rooftop. A lady yelled at us, insisting that we purchase drinks (it was about $75 for one glass of champagne) before we were allowed to take pictures. When I explained that we were hotel guests, we were eventually allowed to take pictures, but only for five minutes! And our friends who were visiting us were not allowed to join us. This felt unnecessary and left a rather negative impression, especially considering how friendly the rest of the staff was.

We stayed on the 53rd floor, which features the Hangover suite, and the view was even better than expected. The room was a generous size, though I wish the living area had more natural light and was situated next to the balcony. We ended up sitting on the balcony floor instead spending time in the living area. The beds and sheets were extremely comfortable, and the staff delivered true 5-star service. Cleanliness was a solid 4 stars; the furniture and carpets are showing their age, but housekeeping clearly does a fantastic job. The shower was the best I’ve experienced in any hotel, with incredible water pressure and a design that completely prevents leaks. Breakfast was decent with plenty of variety, though fairly standard for a hotel buffet—the Indian food corner was our clear favorite. That said, the lounge makes much better coffee than downstairs. The lounge dishwasher might need maintenance, as the glasses had a faint fishy odor, but shout-out to Mia for hand-washing mine. Lounge service was pretty good otherwise.

My wife wanted to stay here. OK for a one night visit. Be prepared for the 5,000 THB security deposit (use cash if you can). Appears to be run for people who like attention from hotel staff. As an adult westerner, and relatively self-sufficient, this is not my style. Check in process was much longer than other hotels. Check out was considerably quicker. Rooftop access for the view was about the same as other elevated vantage points around the city. The "iconic" steps were taken over by a group of unaccompanied middle aged males wearing imitation aviator sunglasses and sharing a single drink. We stayed for a few minutes, took a few photos, then went over the river to ICONSIAM. While there is a range of items on offer for breakfast, it is not especially extensive. I ended up having cornflakes and carrot juice as a safe option before travelling. I preferred our paid breakfast at The Coffee Club the previous day. Can't rate the amenities too highly as we did not use them.

The hotel is nice with the big space of living room and kitchen free mini bar for club lounge access. Fantastic view with great service but somehow I had allergic to the bedsheets and blankets not sure if any chemicals on the bed or detergent that used to wash the bedsheets. Hot water was not working as the hotel quite dated but keep clean. However the service was great they came to fixed the water heater and the staff bring the nurse to check on me. The breakfast at Muzu have plenty of variety but the club lounge even better.

A hotel that's definitely worth a visit! Great views from the suites on the 51st through 55th floors! Definitely get a room with a river view! Amazing breakfasts, 10/10 service!
