I’m from Malaysia, but I have a deep love for traditional Chinese culture. That’s why I travel to mainland China three to four times a year on average—so accommodation is something I always look forward to with high expectations.
I’m happy to share both the good and the bad without reservation.
Today, I’d like to talk about my review of one particular hotel stay. My evaluation criteria are always: first and foremost, service attitude—including the attentiveness of the staff; second, the environment and cleanliness, especially the bathroom; and third, the view from the room—the scenery I can see directly outside. This particular hotel currently ranks in my personal Top 5
My Top 5, in no particular order, are:
· Chambly Resort Hotel in Wuyishan
· InterContinental Lijiang (Yunnan)
· Dongxun Cultural Hotel on the Pamir Plateau in Southern Xinjiang
· Yaojia Wangpu near Huangguoshu in Guizhou
· Hotel Indigo Jiuzhai
Among these, two have left a particularly deep impression on me: Yaojia Wangpu near Huangguoshu and Dongxun Cultural Hotel on the Pamir Plateau. 🫶🏻 And they share one thing in common—the owners personally supervise every detail from early morning onwards.
