Harris Tashkent

This was the first hotel that welcomed us to Uzbekistan. It's a 20-minute drive from the airport, and the taxi cost about 200₽. On the way, the Yandex taxi driver was kind enough to take us to a bank to exchange money for local currency. In a word, the hotel is designed in a European style. The hotel's facade is modern, and the evening lighting makes it even more appealing. The reception staff are genuinely friendly. You can relax in the lobby area if it's not check-in time or if you've checked out but aren't ready to move on to your next destination. The lobby is a comfortable space with four large sofas, modern design, and Wi-Fi. Luggage storage is included. Breakfasts are fantastic, with a selection of pastries and cappuccino. Everything else is standard: sausages, cheeses, porridges, etc. But the highlight is the locally sourced fresh fruit. For visuals, photos and videos are attached. There are no unpleasant smells or dust. Of course, one of the most important factors is the location; I'd call it central. From here, you can reach all popular attractions in roughly the same amount of time: Tashkent City, the TV Tower, the Plov Center, and Mustaqillik Square (which has a whole complex of memorials, fountains, and monuments). If you walk through the park from Mustaqillik Square, you'll reach the Amir Temur monument and the Tashkent Chimes. The latter attractions are within a 20-minute walk. You can reach the others by metro, which is also within a 10-minute walk. There's a supermarket right outside the hotel.

The environment is elegant and the surroundings are quiet. The hygiene is good, but the conditioner wasn't refilled in time. Breakfast was decent, though there were no fresh vegetables. The rice porridge was nice.

The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the room is spacious, clean, and bright. It's also very quiet, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, the taste is decent. The location is convenient for getting around, with the subway station just a 5-minute walk away, where you can also check out the popular 'influencer' subway station. Overall, it offers great value for money.

This hotel was very clean and well-maintained. It was also very close to the subway station, and there was a convenience store-like supermarket nearby. Plus, there was an area with restaurants and other eateries just a little over a 5-minute walk away! The only issues I encountered were that the phone in my room wasn't working (it seemed to be unplugged) and the hairdryer was broken. I couldn't contact the front desk, so I had to go down in person to inform the staff. They quickly found a replacement, but it was quite a hassle. Aside from that, I thought it was a great stay.

The hotel environment is nice, and the location is convenient too. It's just a short walk to the subway.

This hotel has a lovely, modern design and a fantastic location. It's a 13-minute walk to the city center and just 2 minutes to the Kosmonavtov metro station – truly excellent positioning. The room was spacious and clean, and all the bathroom fixtures were new. I definitely recommend it. The only downside is the breakfast; it's a bit subpar. However, you won't leave hungry.
