Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay

The room facilities were well-maintained, contrary to what some others had said. I was pleasantly surprised by the sea view from the room, and it seemed the pool water was heated, so it wasn't cold at all – very comfortable. There was also a super cute lizard at the breakfast area. The only downside was that the breakfast selection was a bit limited. The shuttle service was one car per room, so no sharing with other guests, and the response time was quite fast. All in all, Four Seasons is always my first choice when traveling.

Enthusiastic staff, beautiful surroundings

The hotel room facilities were excellent, though there was an occasional faint musty smell, which I had anticipated. The hotel restaurant was perfect for Chinese palates, offering a wide variety of dishes that really satisfied our craving for Chinese flavors.

Pros: - The staff were genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to quickly resolve any issues (we changed rooms after the first night). - Once we moved, the private pool area with ocean views was really lovely. - The restaurant food was very reasonably priced, and they were happy to prepare anything we wanted if it wasn't currently available. - The hotel has two pool areas and plenty of restaurants. - Guests were well-behaved – no screaming kids running around, no phones on loudspeaker, and no annoyingly loud conversations in the restaurants. Cons: - The live music wasn't up to standard for the price. - The restaurant menus changed each time we visited, which was confusing… for example, a fixed set menu with limited options beyond seafood was frustrating. However, the food quality itself was very good.

Excellent! An established hotel really delivers. Great environment and warm service. The room view and cleanliness were top-notch. Housekeeping came twice a day, quickly and without disturbing guests. They were incredibly responsive to all requests. Even as I was leaving, they helped me double-check my luggage. I moved from the Four Seasons to the Amankora, and the Four Seasons even helped confirm my driver, making sure I had a ride. The drop-off in service at the Amankora is huge; it's really not as good as the Four Seasons. I wish I could go back!

The butler was incredibly welcoming and even upgraded us to a first-row room! We had a fantastic three-night stay. When we arrived at Mandapa, I was still reminiscing about the service at Four Seasons and Bulgari, and kept complaining in comparison.

Nothing particularly stood out. The whole place felt a bit dated. No major complaints though, just remember to bring mosquito repellent.
