Homewood Suites by Hilton Hartford South-Glastonbury

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and updated. We stay here for every visit to CT with our family.

staff at the front desk were excellent although we were assigned a room where the air conditioning did not work but they sent a mechanic to the room right away. When it was found the system would not work, they arranged to move us to another room but it had to be after we got back from a wedding at 11pm.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, the breakfast options were plentiful, and the staff was very competent and efficient. Thank you for a great stay!

The room wasn’t cleaned properly. There was long white hair all over the carpet, black hair on the sink and on the shower wall

I love Homewood suites room set up. separate room with 2 beds and a living room/kitchen area. Breakfast had lots of options, eggs were a little dry and bacon was the shaved kind, that is cold as soon as you put it on your plate. Also the toaster only toasted on one side. Simple things that could be fixed to make it that much better. Oh, FYI the pool is outside. The hotel has a nice set back from the road, with a lot of lawn around it. Staff was helpful, room was clean. Parking plentiful.

While the hotel was okay, our room had a broken air conditioning unit which created a large wet area on the rug. There were also issues with the toilet. So, having engineering in our room while we were trying to get ready for an event was not ideal. Housekeeping came in and did a nice job cleaning, however disregarded the dirty towels that were left in the tub and did not replenish towels, so we had to reuse wet/dirty towels. Breakfast buffet was very nice, though!

Room was clean, but a little bit dated. Our biggest frustration was the dog that was staying next-door to us was barking, and the hallway smell smelled like wet dog. We like dogs, but not next to us when we left our at home at a kennel.

The design layout of the suites is very convenient. Several separate areas to either work or relax. Love the swivel base for the TV which makes it possible to watch programs from either the bed or the sofa on the opposite side of the room. Very clever! Beds and pillows are comfortable. Lots of breakfast food options. A very enjoyable stay!

100% perfect experience. Everything was clean and worked as it should. The staff was great. Property looked well maintained in and out.
