We went there on a holiday(May 1, 2026 - Labor Day) for 1 night under renovation pala kaya ang hina ng aircon or halos wala doon sa front desk. Twin beds ang room so may kasama kaming toddler kaya we moved the bed to one side of the room para mag fit kaming family at hindi mahulog ang bata while sleeping. Will def stay here lalo na pag biglaan at on a budget ka.

Behind the hotel, leading to the pool area, there's a really foul-smelling ditch. The exterior wall of my room was under renovation, so I couldn't even open the curtains during the day. The outlets and switches in the room were oddly placed right in the middle of the window, which was very inconvenient. At night, if I just shifted my pillow, the light would turn on because the plug was loose. Plus, having the plug so close to the pillow felt unsafe.

I would highly recommend Proxy Hotel in Legaspi City to my officemates ,our international visitors in the university, my business partners and their families.  The breakfast buffet is superb.   My family loved the place, the coziness and safety-ness of the area and the warm welcome, the room is spacious and i love their pool too.  I am just looking for a refrigerator even small and slippers too.  When i entered the parking lot it was 7pm.  The parking was very dark,( no solar lights, no lighted posts, no security or parking attendant to assist us, just to make the person who would park there  feel safe)  with very small parking space just enough for an SUV to fit in after 4attempts for a slant parking.  Over-all it was a good experience inside.

Front desk and guard are friendly and accomodating but the room is not so well cleaned esp the bathroom. Hot shower barely working. Didn’t even work on the first night: Incomplete toiletries only provided 2 instead of 3 when the booking says for 3 guests. No bath rug had to request it. Bath towels didn’t come with face towels (these two are usually together so far in other hotels I checked in) A/c is not working well. We even had to put it in turbo mode at night cause it was hot and still, keep waking up cause the room is not so cold. Worst, electricity keeps turning on and off. Called the frontdesk multiple times, staff went to check multiple times all comes down to they will come back and check it again and didn’t happen from around 9am until I have just decided to checkout and not extend cause I had to shower in the bathroom so dark. We had to open the windows just so we can get some light cause the electricity is so disturbing we were not even able to charge phones. They also just left the safety box open. Breakfast buffet is fine, Filipino style.

The hotel isn't brand new, but it's clean and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the bed linen is spotless, and everything you need is provided, including pool towels. Yes, there's a canal or river nearby with a bit of a smell, but you couldn't smell it in the rooms or by the pool at all. It didn't bother us or cause any issues. The breakfasts are superb, highly recommend them – a great selection and everything is delicious. We also tried the buffet lunch and dinner, priced at 400 and 500 pesos respectively. It's Filipino cuisine and very tasty; we really enjoyed it. The hotel has its own parking, which came in handy as we rented a car. We also went for a foot massage at the spa, highly recommended at 600 pesos per hour. The staff are friendly and helped with everything. There's a free airport transfer service, just make sure to book in advance. Honestly, I don't understand the low ratings for this hotel. It's a decent place with good service.

we book this hotel for 2 nights stay, when we arrived at the hotel room, its so dirty , theres a small insects / fly . the paint of the wall are not decent " cant check photos for reference" when we check the overlooking from the window there is a nice mayon volcano view but when you look down there is a creek " waste drainage" .. there is a pool, but beside the pool is the creek, has a foul human waste smell... we report & contacted trip.com , request to cancel our stay & ask a refund, but the hotel declined our request coz its on the policy that no refund. the app trip.com help us & gave a voucher with the same worth so we could book to another hotel. we transfer to the marison hotel. i dont recomend this hotel, thank you trip.com

This was our stay for my husband’s birthday, and we were really touched to find complimentary cake slices waiting for us in the room – such a sweet gesture that made the occasion feel special! First off, the staff were all really nice and welcoming, which we truly appreciated. The room itself was spacious, and at first glance it looked clean enough. The location is great too – super convenient being close to 7-Eleven and malls, so getting around or picking up things we needed was easy. Breakfast was decent overall; most dishes were good, though we did get lechon paksiw both mornings we ate there (it actually tasted better on day two, haha!). We were just hoping there’d be a salad bar or some dessert options to mix things up a bit. That said, we have to be honest about the maintenance issues – they were pretty hard to overlook. When we first walked into the lobby for check-in, there was a strong moldy smell instead of that fresh, clean scent you’d expect from a hotel. The carpet leading to the elevators had a noticeable odor, like pet urine that hasn’t been properly cleaned – honestly, if they can’t keep up with maintaining carpets, it might be better to replace them with something easier to care for. We also found a dead insect on the elevator wall with its insides scattered there. I immediately let the front desk know because I was worried about potential health issues it could cause; they thanked me and said they’d take care of it, but it was still there the whole time we were staying, right up to checkout day. Even in the room, while the CR was clean on the surface, my husband said the shower floor was way too slippery – it felt like it hadn’t been deep cleaned in a while. We also spotted cockroaches in the bedroom and near the CR, the AC unit was covered in dirt, and the curtains had a lot of dust built up. What really bothered us is that they charge guests for basic items like slippers and laundry bags. With how neglected the facilities seem to be, these should really be provided for free. Sadly, with all these upkeep problems, we don’t think we’d stay here again when we come back to Bicol. It’s a shame because there are good parts to the hotel – they just really need to invest in proper maintenance to make it a comfortable place to stay.
