Whalecome Aonang Resort

I really liked this hotel; it's close to the sea and all the amenities. It's very quiet on the property. The rooms are clean, and the pool is beautiful. Breakfast is simple but tasty. They fold different animals out of towels – we had elephants, which was very cute. The staff is friendly. They provide separate towels for the beach. You can also book excursions at the hotel. We booked a trip to Phi Phi there, and it was cheaper than booking on the street.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained. For me, everything was of appropriate quality and quantity, which I appreciated. There was also a delicious and affordable Thai restaurant nearby.

Very clean rooms, quiet, and you'll be woken up by birdsong in the morning! Friendly staff! 5-10 minute walk to the sea!

Not far from the beach, and since Ao Nang Beach doesn't have many budget guesthouses right on the sand, this place is a good option. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate, there's a pool, and it's right next to the number one ranked restaurant. Great for travelers on a budget.

It's an okay place to stay if you're just looking for the environment, especially since it's on an island. However, there's only warm water for washing. My belongings were left in my previous room and were thrown away by the cleaning staff. They didn't even bother to confirm if they were lost items from a guest changing rooms. They were too lazy to look for them and simply lied and made excuses, saying they hadn't seen anything and didn't know. Only one lady at the front desk with glasses and the guy who cleaned the pool daily were polite and always greeted me with a smile. As an Asian, I'm not going to lie to fellow Asians. Everyone should consider this for themselves.
