Silver Birch Resort Lapland

This was a great location slightly out of the city to catch the Northern Lights without going on a tour (we saw it two nights out of two)! The glass cabins were well kept and clean, we were two adults and two teens and there was enough space for everyone. Note that this resort serves only five cabins and no one else, so the exclusivity is unsurpassed! It is also beside a frozen lake and you can walk to the middle to catch the auroras. A lot of nature activities to occupy the family in the daytime. Some recommendations would be the sauna+frozen lake dip, ice fishing and hiking to the rock church. The founder of the resort, Theo, is ultra friendly and nice and all the staff there (shoutout to Millie and Guillaume!) really go above and beyond to help make our stay there so memorable. All the photos uploaded I took with just my iphone16. All in I was extremely happy we chose this place for the Rovaniemi leg of our trip.

We've spent a wonderful afternoon in this marvellous place with my family. We had dinner, the meals were superb. I tried the outer sauna and sank in the frozen lake next to the restaurant. It was a lifelong experience for me. My kid found a new friend, Jeremy thanks for your kindness. Thanks for everything for the whole staff. We'd like to return!

All the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming 😆 The Glass House is absolutely stunning! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to truly connect with nature.

Beautiful place. Very quiet as only 5 cabins. We arrived in the evening in late November and it was already dark to walk around the hotel's ground so we didn't explore much. The cabin was warm and felt luxury with very dark lighting which we thought its too dark first, but soon realised all you want to do in the cabin is turn the light off and gaze the beautiful nature all covered with snow outside. Breakfast was beautiful and tasty, we liked the mini chocolate pudding with chia seeds. After the breakfast we went for a walk around the hotel and it was,magical. Walked through silver birch trees and icy lake. It was like Narnia ! We didn't want to leave at all. We love lapland.

Staying at Hotel Silver Birch was an incredible experience. It was by far one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Surrounded by nature, in a beautiful and peaceful setting, this is without a doubt the perfect option to relax during your holidays in Rovaniemi. The hotel is a bit remote, which wasn’t a problem for us since we had a rental car. The glass and wood cabins offer a perfect view of the lake and the sky. At night, the darkness is complete, and there’s a true feeling of being immersed in the surrounding forest. The cabin is equipped with a small kitchen where you can prepare your meals, a table, a small sofa, and an incredibly comfortable bed. The bathroom has two showers—a small one and a large one where you can enjoy a nice, relaxing bath. The towels are soft and cozy. The cabin ceiling has a blind that you can close, and the glass walls have curtains, but we left everything open the whole time to enjoy the view of the sky and nature, which we never got tired of admiring. We took a walk through the forest during the day and it was very peaceful. The entire cabin is beautifully decorated with great taste. We requested a vegan breakfast option from the staff and were promptly served with delicious choices. We were truly grateful and satisfied with the service and quality. We absolutely recommend it with our eyes closed!

From the moment we arrived at Silver Birch Resort, I was struck by how peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful the surroundings were. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who went above and beyond to help us plan our stay. The cabins were incredible — cozy, stylish, and perfectly positioned. And the views from our bed? Absolutely unforgettable. If you're heading to Lapland, this is without a doubt the place to stay.
