The location is awesome—less than a 5-minute walk from Taipei Main Station, Exit Y13. The amenities were great too, and it’s a lovely place for solo travellers. However, on my last night, I encountered some hostile behaviour from two other guests due to a longer waiting time for the shower. Since the showers are first come, first served, I felt that ganging up on someone over the waiting time was unnecessary and came across as bullying. Nevertheless, I also experienced kindness and genuine care from other travellers during my stay, which I really appreciated. I would definitely love to come back again. Hopefully, I just won’t cross paths with those two again. Yikes!

Really clean and comfortable hostel. Great for a relaxing stay. Location is great near the train station. Wouldn’t say it’s the most social of hostels however and probably isn’t best if you’re backpacking and wanting to meet a lot of other people. Stayed in 8 bed dorm, very private and quiet.

Location was great, around 10-15mins walk from Taipei main station, near many convenient stores like 7-11 and family, and Ning Xia Market too. Staff were friendly, sociable and able to assist accordingly when approached with questions. There were 2 washing machines and 2 dryers (70NTD & 50NTD respectively), extremely convenient. Slippers were provided and towels were changed daily. Facilities were clean and well maintained. The food vouchers were amazing, making some of the tasty food options even more affordable. There is a wall or recommended places to visit and food to try out when you’re unsure of where to go.

One of the best hostels in terms of facilities that I stayed at. The staff were very professional and friendly. Only complaint would be I wish the hostel would facilitate some kind of events or have an easier way for travellers staying here to meet each other, since I find it a little difficult to socialize here.

If you love old houses, this is the ultimate choice. The location is convenient, and the hotel is extremely thoughtful, providing dining vouchers for guests to enjoy delicious food at nearby restaurants—such a heartwarming touch. Mamager Kelly was very patient in introducing the hotel's and the building history and the owner's background, as well as sharing information about the group's hostels around the world and another hostel in Taiwan. You can truly see how much dedication the owner puts into running the hostel , and the staff are equally devoted. I loved it so much; it has a very cozy, home-like feel. The quality of the guests is also very high. Highly recommended!

This hostel is amazing for solo travellers. The facilities are modern, clean and tidy. The room I stayed in was cleaned every day and I had no issues at all. There was a mini fridge, TV, working shower and toilet, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel & slippers. The upstairs area has a shared kitchen, seating area, balcony, laundry facilities and extra toilets. The lift was fully functioning and the laundry was very cheap and efficient. The staff are super friendly, they speak Mandarin, English, and other languages. They are very kind and eager to help you with anything. I needed help calling on the phone as I don't speak much Mandarin and they were happy to help me which is very kind. The area nearby has loads of local shops and places to eat. You are given meal vouchers by the hostel which are super helpful and you can give as many as you want so breakfast was always free for me. The only things to consider are this private room is only big enough for one adult, it didn't have much space with my luggage inside. The main station is walkable so convenieny but it is a bit of a maze as there are different stations and shopping centres so difficult to exit the station quickly. Even though it is nearby, it takes a long time to walk from outside to the platform (at least 10 mins). I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

It’s located in the central where you can get to zhongshan district by walking. A good mixed hostel+hotel type with nice common areas. I stayed at the mixed dorm and it was fine. But as a solo female traveler, I’d recommend you to stay in the female dorm instead because sometimes male traveler being inconsiderate by putting their boxer on top of the shelf while you clearly get your own locker. The staffs are very accommodating and friendly! What i like about the dorm is that it uses the stairs instead of ladder for the upper dorm AND it’s very social! Also, there’s scallion pancake stall in front of this hotel which 10/10 recommended!
