Service at the pool, main restaurant, and bars was very good, as was the selection at the buffet. However, you need a lot of time for lunch at the two restaurants, and the menu becomes far too monotonous after a 14-day stay. Generally, I don't understand the above-average room rate. The location isn't as great as, for example, in Soma Bay. We weren't convinced by the price/performance ratio, sorry. The buffet was of poor quality, worse than instant noodles. The bed sheets were very old and pilling was common in five-star hotels. The staff knocked on the door three or four times a day, which was really disturbing. The front desk staff was also very average.

The hotel facilities are very good. The swimming pool temperature is very good. There are two large swimming pools, both with a depth of 1.2 meters. They are the best swimming pools I have ever seen. Private beach with few people. Many of the guests are Europeans, friendly and polite. The service was attentive and impeccable. The hotel has its own kitesurfing school. The buffet has a wide variety and the quality is very, very good. All in all, a super five-star experience. Also very suitable for family travel, the room is huge. If you come to the Red Sea again in the future, you will definitely come here again.

This is a very nice resort with three swimming pools, four restaurants, a large beach and beach front bars. As our suite had an individual pool, we did not spend much time around the large public pools. We did use the gym which had sufficient equipments for a workout. Buffet offered large selections. Room was comfortable. If we come back to the Red Sea, we will stay at this resort again.

Just got back from a 5 night stay at Steigenberger Ras Soma and it was amazing! Felt like pure luxury and staff were all so accommodating and very friendly. The restaurants at this hotel serve really good fresh food. Note you have to make reservation 1-2 days in advance otherwise they’re fully booked but I would recommend doing this as the food is much better than the buffet dinner. The buffet for breakfast was really nice though serving fresh omelettes, pancakes, pastries and more. The private beach is incredible, there’s always space and the water is so blue and clear! There’s also an aqua centre on the beach so you can book activities like snorkelling and wind surfing. We can’t wait to come back!
