We also stayed at this hotel in Ninh Binh. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, although there were a few things that could be improved. The location is good, surrounded by beautiful greenery and a peaceful atmosphere. The road leading to the hotel is a bit bumpy, but it’s manageable. We stayed in a bungalow, which was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The only issue with the bungalow was the strong smell of incense. It was noticeable throughout our stay and didn’t seem to disappear. I’m quite sensitive to strong scents, so it was a little uncomfortable for me. I’m not sure whether it was used to keep mosquitoes away or for another reason. Our biggest disappointment was the swimming pool. Unfortunately, it didn’t look very clean. We noticed insects floating in the water, including a cockroach, and there was quite a lot of kids, so we decided not to swim. Apart from those issues, the hotel was enjoyable. The peaceful surroundings, lush greenery, and kind staff made for a relaxing stay. If the pool were maintained better and the strong incense smell reduced, the experience would have been much better.

The Goat Resort is absolutely amazing, it was like stepping into a fairy tale. The property was clean and very well maintained. The restaurant on site was delicious and the massages were magical.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our holiday having travelled around a fair bit. It’s a little oasis in the middle of nowhere, although it’s easily accessible by car and bike. It’s very relaxed and not pretentious, however the service was excellent and the staff were lovely. The pool is lovely and never felt crowded even though they were fully booked. Excellent value for money overall and definitely worth having the massage which was excellent.

After the busyness of Hanoi, the Goat was so tranquil… so quiet… could hear the birds chirping quietly. We chose to eat at the restaurant both mornings & nights, and had lunch. Food was great and the attentiveness to my nut allergy was greatly appreciated. We suspected the costs of buying things from the resort would be more than ‘normal’ due to it being 15 mins by car from Ninh Bin… were stunned to find out costs were cheaper for drinks than we paid in Hanoi including from the mini bar!! We also had a massage .. which was fabulous. The room was lovely and really unique. The staff are amazing - they could not be more helpful - even helped me to work out how to get the cheapest grab (old person issue on my end 😜) If your looking for peace and tranquility in an almost unspoilt area of Vietnam totally recommend The Goat ❤️

We loved the goat boutique! It was remote but easy enough to get grab taxis, the location made it lovely and peaceful. The pool was lovely and the views were fabulous. The staff were very nice and very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. They helped us to book a day trip and we stored our luggage beyond our check out time. Food and drink was great value for money, as was the whole hotel! The only downside would be that the lighting was not great in the rooms and there was not enough hot water for showering (would only be hot for the first person for the first 2 mins). Otherwise we loved this place!

The attention and service we received was so friendly and helpful. Easily accessible by Grab or Taxi we enjoyed the serene atmosphere and private, well appointed bungalow. I also made use of the 90 minute spa massage, a good decision and treat. The restaurant provided good and reasonable food dining during our 4 night stay. This is not the Fairmount or Ritz-Carlton, but a lovely resort reflecting the tropical Vietnamese countryside with western amenities. We were so happy with our choice to be here. A definitel recommend.

We stayed at Goat Boutique Resort and had a very pleasant, relaxing experience. The setting among limestone hills is beautiful and peaceful, ideal after a day of sightseeing. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and the pool area is a real highlight with great views. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. A very good choice for a calm stay in Ninh Binh.
