Hotel Hyper Hills Hirosaki

Service attitude is paramount.

Although the building showed signs of age, it had plenty of amenities and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was delicious. They also sold instant noodles and had manga available for rent, and we were able to borrow umbrellas so we could go outside even when it suddenly started snowing.

I was backpacking, and it's a 15-minute walk from Hirosaki Station. There's a supermarket and a 7-Eleven along the way (don't hesitate, or you won't find any shops later). The hotel is quite old, but decorated in a retro style. The front desk isn't large, but there are plenty of toiletries you can take upstairs (not small packages, but whole bottles). There's an ice maker and free drinking water on the first floor. The room is quite large, and the bed is comfortable, but the cleanliness is just average. Breakfast is included in the room rate. It's a buffet with various Japanese side dishes, curry rice, or bread, and it's quite delicious, especially the apple juice, which is very good. Overall, it's a very affordable hotel. If you're staying here, you can ask in the morning if you can rent bicycles from the hotel or from the station; it's very convenient.

It's easy to use and I always use it. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, so I always feel comfortable.
