Excellent, excellent, excellent! We didn't want to leave after our 3-night stay. This hotel is amazing – new, stylish, and tasteful. The rooms are great; we had one with a view and a balcony. The shower was a particular highlight, incredibly beautiful. Housekeeping cleaned daily and replenished water, tea, and everything else. The staff are wonderful young people, very responsive and always smiling. You can tell they're well-trained and dedicated. The breakfast is good, with main dishes ordered à la carte and an additional buffet for vegetables, cold cuts (cheeses/ham), desserts, pastries, etc. Overall, breakfast could be slightly improved, but that's being nitpicky! You can request Cava for an extra charge. The parking is 30 euros per day, and it's extremely steep, spiral, and narrow. It was super uncomfortable to drive in and out; we often had to get out and help the driver with the car's dimensions. But at least it exists, and that's a plus. The parking is secure, under cameras, so no unauthorized access. The location is excellent, super close to the Gothic Quarter, just a 5-10 minute walk. There's a small but beautiful rooftop pool with a bar, though we didn't get a chance to swim – what a shame! I heard there's often a DJ playing in the evenings. Room service is available, though we didn't use it, but you could order food and drinks. The hotel and rooms smell incredibly pleasant and are very quiet. The soundproofing is simply amazing; I didn't hear a single neighbor, even though the hotel was fully booked. The clientele was mostly adults; I saw very few children. In short, if we go to Barcelona again, we'll definitely stay here! You guys are awesome! 🫶🏻

A beautiful art hotel with a great sense of design. I slept very soundly.

The room was excellent, decorated in a natural linen style that I really like. A cute little cat even hopped over from next door on the rooftop. The rooftop views were beautiful in the mornings and evenings, and the restaurants and cafes downstairs were quiet and peaceful; you could tell the decor was carefully chosen. It was a really good deal for the price. Just across the street from the hotel is a stunning fountain park ⛲️, free admission, and the view is unbeatable. A special thank you to the two ladies at the front desk; they were incredibly dedicated and patient, and even recommended the British Palace department store where I could buy 5J ham.

The hotel is new, not very big, but very comfortablely designed. The colors in the rooms and public areas are fantastic! The food in the restaurant is very good, the breakfast buffet is plentiful, and the hotel's location is very convenient for getting around.

Despite my repeated pleas for help canceling my reservation, they flatly refused. I understand my booking was non-refundable, but when I explained my situation, which was beyond my control and involved government matters, they were never willing to assist me. The Trip team tried to contact them, but the hotel was extremely uncooperative. I can't imagine if I had encountered any problems while on their premises; they would have remained equally rigid in their rules.

Honestly, the location is just so-so. We originally booked this place because we thought it would be convenient to walk back after the opera at the Palace of Music, but we found that there are many hotels that are more convenient than this one. This place is very far from the subway station, but there is a bus stop right outside, which is a small consolation. The room is quite large, and it was easy to open two 28cm suitcases.

Facilities: There's a mirror directly opposite the bed in the room, which isn't very comfortable.

If you're looking to visit the Gothic Quarter's attractions and restaurants, this is the perfect place to stay. Jon Cake is just a 3-minute walk from one shop and a 10-minute walk from another. Note that one shop only offers whole cakes, while the other, a bit further away, offers slices in various flavors. The overall decor is very retro and stylish. The prices reflect both the perceived luxury and the location, but hotels in the area tend to be more expensive during peak season, which is understandable.
