You definitely must stay inside Yading Village for at least one night, and you should without a doubt choose this hotel.
The Room: A full 100 points for cleanliness, with direct mountain views. At night, we had the most incredible, successful Milky Way stargazing experience right here.
The Food: 10/10. It suited our Vietnamese taste buds perfectly. We asked for boiled greens, and they served them exactly the way we make them back home. It was deeply comforting after days of heavy, oily, and spicy Chinese meals.
The Service: 1000/10. The hostess felt like a warm, friendly next-door neighbor. She helped us with everything: negotiated a great car rate back to Daocheng, gave our group a discount on dinner, treated us to local specialty liquor, and lent us trekking poles (which was a total lifesaver, as trekking Yading without poles is brutal).
