At Nirwana Garden Resort, staff are friendly and genuinely nice. The beach is clean and clear waters that you can see fishes swimming around you… and watch sunset in the sea waters. Its windy and cool in the morning and evening. Food offered at good, esp the lamb shank stew. Also have nice spa - go for the Javanese massage! There are also 3 iguanas kept at the resort. We also went bowling and archery. At night we also went out for fireflies watching and kelong restaurant dinner.

I loved Nirwana resort hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful they let me check in earlier free of charge and also let me check out 1 hour later at 1pm. Free transport to the hotel from ferry which is great and convenient. Also have lots of water and fun activities.

My boyfriend fell sick on the first day of the trip and was down with a high fever, we asked the receptionist for any medicines that could help with fever. To our horror, we are shocked that the resort itself does not carry any panadol or paracetemol. They told us that they only have first aid and that we should travel out by grab out of the resort to search for it and the nearest “pharmacist” which the name sounded shady is a 30 mins drive. Grabbing anywhere out of the resort itself is costly and furthermore there is no grab mart or grabfood service available within the resort areas. It was super inconvenient and the price of the food served in this resort is similar to cafe priced in singapore but with very subpar quality and taste. Never coming back to bintan ever again

A truly excellent hotel! The beach was beautiful and uncrowded; since it was off-season, we had the entire beach to ourselves, which was wonderful. The service was also great; the staff always greeted us with a smile.

Even though the hotel looks a bit dated, it didn't dampen the kids' spirits. The seaside views are beautiful, and the white sand is super fine and clean. At night, you can hear frogs croaking, which the kids absolutely loved.
