Wilson Lake Inn

The staff were super helpful and the room was so clean! Great layout and close to restaurants

We have been going to Wilson Lake Inn for approximately 12 years now. We have a camp nearby and when the roads do not allow us to get up to camp we go to the Inn and always have a great stay. Once per year we gather with our friends, a group of 10-12, everyone rents their rooms, one of them being the two bedroom suite located in the more private side building where there is a full kitchen and living room. Plenty of room for us to gather, share a meal and get caught up. The rooms are always clean, beds comfortable and the staff is always welcoming, kind and accommodating. We love the fact that we are supporting a local business and it is not a chain hotel.

We stayed on the second floor. The room was clean and comfortable, though we kept smelling a septic like odor the first night. Not strong but enough to where if you left the room and came back, you could smell it. We didn’t smell it the second day. The shower was okay- not great water pressure and the water left you with that “slick” feel. Front desk was very friendly and accommodating. We had the garden view and enjoyed strolling down to the lake. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.

We really enjoyed our four night stay at the Wilson Inn. So glad we had a kitchenette area, it was well equipped and comfortable. We thought a clock and another mirror would have been convenient. We had a view of the garden and lake and the landscaping was beautiful. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would have liked to stay longer at this charming Inn.

This is a gem of a place -- gorgeous location on a tranquil Maine lake, beautiful grounds with incredible flowers everywhere. The accommodations are like a classic hotel, very comfortable, clean, friendly, very reasonably priced. You can walk to the town and find some groceries and good restaurants. We really loved our time here.

This is an older hotel/inn but it has lots of cheer and charm. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly, recommended some spots to eat, informative about what the inn offered, and nice to deal with. The room was basic but clean and comfortable with a double and a queen. The property is lovely and it was nice to be able to walk down to the lake in the morning and spend some time on the dock. I will definitely be back and stay longer to utilize all they offer.

Stayed in one of their very nice suites. Two bedroom unit, one room had a queen bed and the other bedroom had two twins. There was also a pullout couch. Full kitchen and small living room with a lot of parking. Located on beautiful Wilson Lake in Wilton Maine. There is a lot to do in this amazing little town.

Nice independent non chain hotel in Rural Maine . Friendly staff. Well kept grounds. Would definitely return. The access to the lake is easy with a good dock. They have kayaks and canoes . The guest book in the room is a great touch with lots of helpful information
