Golden Inns (Beijing South Railway Station)

Cleanliness was decent for the most part. The bathroom smelt like cigarettes and the shower was a bit grimy but they provided slippers/sandals to wear. 2x bottles of 550ml drinking water provided each day, daily cleaning/bed-made, and the reception was really lovely and able to give me more drinking water when I asked for it. Location was average. You have to walk a decent amount to public transport, which I thought was a good chance to absorb the local environment… but the surrounding area is poorly lit, high traffic, and lots of homelessness. Good security made the hotel itself feel safe though.

A great choice over all. Staff was very cooperative and kind. Hotel has a coffee shop whichis a great addition. Room was nice and tidy and well equipped with amenities. Breakfast menu was also good with a lot of variety.

As a first-time visitor to Beijing from Thailand, I found this hotel incredibly convenient. It features an on-site café and a Mala restaurant—both offer delicious food and are not too expensive. The entire hotel staff is wonderful and welcoming. While English isn't widely spoken in the city, the hotel and café staff did a great job communicating in English and provided excellent service.

We enjoyed our stay at Golden Inn Hotel. The room was perfect and clean. The front desk staff were so friendly. The hotel is close to Beijing South Railway Station. If you are planning to travel through the station, I recommend you stay here!
