The whole experience was a joy from the wonderful staff, amazing location, beautiful room and secure parking on site. It was such a relaxing and welcoming place to stay. Looking forward to returning for a longer visit.

Perfect location, the hotel is right in the middle of St Martin, yet so peaceful we found we could really switch off and relax. We enjoyed the history and character of the hotel. Our room was large and beautifully decorated, the bar and walled gardens were delightful, we really appreciated the swimming pool. My wife enjoyed two treatments at the spa, both wonderful. The staff were really personal, attentive and friendly. Breakfast was very good, lots to choose from and we enjoyed eating on the terrace. Wonderful hotel - a perfect first stop on our road trip to the south. We will return!

Exceptional boutique hotel in charmin Saint-Martin-de-Re. Lovely bedrooms and linen. Great bar/lounge area. Nice breakfast. Staff could not be friendlier and more helpful.

What a beautiful hotel. We loved everything : our room (the Loft) was spacious and comfortable, the staff without exception were welcoming, helpful and always charming; The swimming pool was a lovely temperature; the spa experience was delightful and the bar is a lovely place to relax with a very good wine list and great cocktails. Finally the location is ideal, peaceful yet within walking distance of all the points of interest in Saint Martin de Re. We spent 5 nights here and will happily stay longer next time. Ps - parking with chargers is easy to access and the gardens are beautiful and very well maintained.

A wonderful place to stay, quite the most exclusive B&B we have ever stayed in, it feels as if you have joined a private house party. The staff were outstandingly courteous and efficient and the elegant room, gardens and evening bar made for a most relaxing stay. Thanks to you all, and a special mention to the member of staff who was so helpful when my husband had a cycling accident and needed medical attention late on a Friday evening.

Our eighth or ninth visit to La Baronnie, and it has always been a joy. We have witnessed it grow over the years, and every new addition or innovation has only enhanced its uniqueness. The staff are consistently outstanding - attentive and efficient, and invariably friendly and charming. To us it like retuning to a welcoming home.

La Baronnie is comfortable, peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The staff are superbly helpful and friendly. The garden is the perfect area to sit in the shade after a swimming in the pool. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 3 nights in the middle of August. We booked a family suite, which according to the website had air-conditioning, subject to availability. On arrival, it transpired that non of this type of room had air-conditioning. If we had known this we would have booked a different room and felt a bit misled. Management - update the website please (easy fix!) But - the staff are lovely, the rooms and grounds are super pretty. The pool is perfect (our 6 year old loved it), and its location is second to non. There is safe bike party in the courtyard and do book & pay for the private parking as it is worth it. I would recommend this hotel to others but only if they contact the hotel first before booking in summer to 100% get air-conditioning as it did taint our stay - we had come from a 4 star hotel in Bordeaux with air-con so we felt the heat even more!
